This works as it’s represented. It’s fairly easy to assemble and any parent can hook it up to your TV. Very good for children or others to examine objects at much greater magnification.

I didn't even realize before I bought it that it has rechargeable batteries for both the aux lights and the scope itself! That was a fantastic surprise. Build quality is great as is the image quality and magnification. The menu system is a bit slow to respond via the remote control but the options are clear and easy to understand. My nits have to do with the vertical adjustment rack. It isn't dampened so you have to be careful not to let the unit slide down the rack under its own weight but I think a piece of paper slid behind the locking screw will give it enough friction to prevent that. The other nit is that the tilt adjustment does need a wrench to adjust but that's probably not something you're going to be adjusting a lot so it's not really a big deal. For you Linux users... if you plug it into your computer, it is a standard UVC device and can be used just like any other camera. Oh, I was also surprised it came with a 32gb SD card.

A must have. Large screen, can focus in on whole coin down. Can photograph.

The base is bigger than the others I've seen.

This was purchased as an upgrade to my hubby’s previous one. His excitement to have a 10.1” screen alone worth the upgrade. In his words the clarity of the coins he’s been checking is amazing.

This thing is awesome! I have examined watches, coins, and bugs with my children and the detail is astounding. We are thoroughly pleased to have purchased this item.

The neck and the base threads were different and I was unable to attach them therefore unable to use. I may have simply been unlucky but I thought milling the threads so they would match is a basic function.

It’s very nice and exactly what I want. It’s as big as an iPad came on time looks great.

This microscope offers good magnification along with surprisingly sharp image quality and accurate colors. Thanks to it, working with very small components becomes much easier. It’s also useful for other tasks where higher magnification is needed. The photo quality is satisfactory. Unfortunately, Full HD is only available when recording directly—when connected via HDMI, the output is limited to 720p.
