Great EDC light with many uses, minor fixes would make it perfect.
I bought this light after owning Wuben's X-0 for nearly a year. In many ways, this model is an improvement-- cheaper, better switch that doesn't accidentally activate as easily, better pocket clip, toolless removable battery cap, etc. On the other hand, it misses a few things that I'd like to see improved upon. First off, there is no moonlight mode like the X-0. This is sorta big to me, as I'm often using the light in a totally dark bedroom or dorm at the station. Second, mine failed to charge after a month and the battery would drain crazy fast. To Wuben's credit, they sent a replacement that seems to be working fine to this day, but my X-0 has been chugging along without issue for over a year-- maybe I got a lemon. Now here's some general things about this light that makes it a good pick: first, it's a right-angle light, so it can light your work area from a backpack strap or belt. Also, since it has a spring steel clip, it'll easily clip on to a variety of thicknesses. The tail cap magnet is strong-- I use it to hold papers up when typing reports, light up equipment compartments, and even tied cord to the light and lowered it through a storm drain to retrieve dropped keys. The angles on the body allow you to position the light, and it can take regular or rechargable batteries-- the latter of which can be charged in the light with the ubiquitous USB C cable. The light itself is more floody than beamish, which is useful for the majority of EDC work in my opinion.

Good purchase, good price. Love it
This light is awesome. I’m very impressed all around. After buying some other work lights to use in my small engine repair company and them not charging out of the box brand new, and being too big and built with poor quality materials I decided to go the EDC route and I’m happy I did. It’s small enough and has a magnetic base to place on anything anywhere on an. Engine and the side facing light adds to that functionality. Even the non magnetic sides have angles that allow a 45 degree or to lay flat. The brightness is ridiculous. Especially the turbo mode. It’ll literally blind you. This could be used in a self defense manner. If the battery stops charging prematurely, there’s a year warranty and if I have any issues I’ll update.

Bright
It’s bright & works well. It doesn’t take long to recharge. The size is great & the magnetic end works good. My only complaint is the positioning of the light & the clip. It can’t be worn on a hat to be used as a head lamp. It can be used in a pocket on a shirt or jacket. I don’t really wear shirts or jackets with chest pockets. So, the clip is pretty useless for me.

1800 is its 1 minute max output.
It's a good light. However, the 1800 lumens is for 1 minute. Then it drops to 800 for 1 minute then to its sustained high of 400 for about an hour. The 1800 is the "turbo" and it gets HOT. Still 4 stars because it is small light and 400 lumens for an hour is decent.
