I have Norman shades and hated the process of getting the battery tubes out every 3-4 months and filling them with $12 bucks worth of batteries. What a waste! These were a great replacement. I just installed them yesterday, so we hope the charge last at least as long as the battery wands. One of my windows had a short depth frame, and these are a little wider than the wands, so I had to make some cuts and modifications to the interior trim pieces, but customization is always the world I live in. Anyways, I got it to fit. One of the things that is critical is knowing the type of connector you need and what these have. The Somfy motors on the Norman shades are a 2-pin male/female connector. The pictures and descriptions do not stipulate this, and actually show a 3-pin connector on the battery pack itself. However this is just where the charger plugs in. The output cable does have a 2-pin terminal end as needed. Once installed and plugged in to the motors, they immediately began working as they should. The batteries needed charging when I received them. One took about an hour and the other took about 2 hours. They are pricey, but I wont go through the regret of tossing out pricey AAs every few months.

This product may be fine but it is not compatible with Bali roll up motorized shades with Z-Wave technology.
