The shape/silhouette is very flattering whether you wear it opened or buttoned up and tied around the waist. The length is down to below my knees, I am 5"2'. Some of the negatives would be that the buttons are a bit loose and seems like they could fall off in time as you keep using them. I'd probably just go in and tighten them with some thread myself. Also, DO NOT iron this coat as it will cause the fabric to "melt" and shrivel. Use steam to get those wrinkles out after you take it out of the packaging, I sadly touched a bit of my iron onto the chest panel as I was trying to steam it and it left a melted imprint that I can't get rid of now..I would also recommend to order one size down if you're trying to get a more flattering and fit look. I returned the medium that I usually order my coats in for a small and it looked and felt a lot better.
