It's not true to fit, if anything, it's a little bigger than advertised, but I'm all for it. I'd rather it be bigger than smaller, and shrinkflation seems to be all the rage currently. It is definitely lightweight and breathable. Great to have in the back of the car or in your backpack. I've not worn it in heavy rain, but it holds up well in moderate rain. It is definitely windproof. With it being bigger, there is plenty of room for base layers.
