If you enjoy atmospheric fragrances- try this!!!
This is a fragrance I will repurchase again and again!! When I first got it, I thought it was too masculine and I was regretting my purchase. I'm so glad I gave it a second chance though! I'm really loving atmospheric scents, and this is one of the best ones I've found. It gives "rainy day in a tea house surrounded by woods" vibe. It's moody and complex and it keeps me intrigued. It very much reminds me of art in the form of perfume.I would consider this a unisex fragrance. It's not sweet but there is hint of vanilla. I mostly get tea and woods from this, along with an earthy smell from the vetiver and patchouli. There's a slight powderiness, which I don't usually like, but it works exceptionally well with the woods and petrichor.I would peg this as a far more expensive fragrance than it is. The presentation was beyond impressive- perfect for gifting! The bottle is heavy, though the cap is plastic (if that matters to you). The atomizer sprays evenly and is slightly pressurized I think. My bottle is starting to leak a little around the atomizer, but the quality of the fragrance makes up for any packaging flaws.

Elegant, Cozy, and Polished - A Surprise from Lattafa
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Liam turned out to be a total gem. It starts with a slightly sharp blast of cardamom and earthy black tea, almost like opening a tin of loose-leaf tea. It can feel a bit intense if you’re not expecting it, but give it a minute or two and it softens beautifully.Once it calms, the fragrance opens up into a creamy, powdery mix of iris, vanilla, sandalwood, and vetiver. There’s a comforting warmth to it, like slipping into a cashmere sweater with a cup of tea in hand. It leans clean and smooth rather than heavy and over-the-top - polished, grown-up, and surprisingly versatile. In terms of performance, it doesn’t dominate a room, but it stays with you. Expect around 6–8 hours of wear on skin, and longer on clothes, with a modest projection that keeps things personal yet noticeable. It won’t announce itself aggressively, which makes it great for work or cozy gatherings without overwhelming anyone. Some buyers compare it to much pricier niche scents, feeling it captures the same kind of elegant, laid-back sophistication for a fraction of the cost. It’s often described as unisex but leans slightly masculine - though many women enjoy its warm, soft-spice character. What to know before buying blind:- The opening can be a bit dusty or intense - don’t judge it too quickly.- It’s perfect for cooler weather or indoor environments where you want something warm but not sweet.- Projection is more subtle, but longevity is solid.- If you like spicy, tea-like scents with a soft, creamy dry down, this is a strong pick.Overall, Liam feels like a confident, luxurious signature scent without the price tag. It’s mature, balanced, and quietly compelling - perfect for someone who wants to smell great without shouting for attention.

Lattafa Liam Grey: Cozy Black Tea and Fig Done Shockingly Well
Lattafa Liam Grey is one of the more well-known modern Lattafa releases because it targets a very specific niche DNA. The easiest and most accurate way to frame it is this: Liam Grey sits firmly in the BDK Gris Charnel lane. From the first spray, the inspiration is obvious. The opening revolves around cardamom, black tea, and fig, which gives it that cozy, slightly spicy, creamy feel that defines the Gris Charnel profile. It immediately comes across warm and smooth rather than bright or loud.As it develops, the fragrance becomes more structured. The mid introduces iris, vetiver, and labdanum, which add a slightly powdery, woody depth. This is where the scent starts feeling more niche-like. It has that calm, composed character instead of trying to project aggressively. The drydown is where the comfort factor really kicks in. You get sandalwood, vanilla, tonka, and patchouli, which create a creamy, slightly sweet base that lingers for hours. The overall effect is warm, smooth, and cozy without turning fully gourmand. In terms of similarity, most impressions land in the “clearly inspired but not identical” range. It captures the overall mood of Gris Charnel very well, but tends to be a bit sweeter and slightly less refined in the blend. The original feels smoother and more nuanced, but Liam Grey delivers the core vibe convincingly for a fraction of the price.Performance is generally solid. Most wearers report good longevity with moderate projection, which fits the scent profile well. This isn’t meant to be loud or beast mode. It’s more of a scent that sits in your aura rather than filling a room.Stylistically, this is not a gym or hot-weather fragrance. It works best in:- fall and winter- rainy days- cozy indoor settings- relaxed evenings- casual date nightsIt leans unisex but slightly mature, especially compared to louder Middle Eastern releases. One important thing with Liam Grey is expectation management. This DNA isn’t mass-appeal fresh or ultra-sweet designer territory. It’s more of a calm, slightly introspective scent profile. If you don’t already like the Gris Charnel style, this won’t convert you.Overall, Liam Grey works because it stays true to the assignment. It delivers the creamy tea, fig, and sandalwood warmth that makes Gris Charnel appealing while keeping the price extremely accessible. It doesn’t replace the original in refinement, but as an affordable entry into that niche scent profile, it makes a lot of sense.

LOVE AT FIRST SNIFF!
Yeah, this is just amazing. I love most tea fragrances but the black tea, fig, and cardamom in Liam Gray got me hooked right away. Lasts a good 5 full hours on my skin before starting to fade. Perfect year round, daytime, nighttime, bedtime. Definitely unisex. If you are a woman like me who enjoys the masculinity of Phlur’s Father Figure then you should also love this one. Great and moody for a gray rainy day. One of my favorites for sure and superb quality for such an affordable price.

Sweet, creamy fig. Unisex.
This is not a singularly masculine scent, and I don’t know what Gris Charnel smells like, so I can’t give you that comparison. Sorry! This isn’t a scent I’d be able to tell came fromLattafa if I didn’t know. If you have enough of their bottles, you’ll know what I mean. This is a beautiful, creamy scent that is not shy about the figginess or woods. My beau and I share this bottle, and it smells wildly different on either of us. It isn’t an aggressive, green, fig leaf monster like some (looking at you philosykos). The bottle is less ornate than some Lattafa bottles, more portable.I also know that it’s gotten better with age, as far as longevity, projection and sillage, as Lattafa often does.Great evening scent, or a cosy daytime scent for cooler weather. I could see pairing this with brown sugar fig from B&BW (duh), ivory cashmere from B&BW, sweet whiskey (discon’t) from B&BW, or any other warm, vanillic or even lactonic scent. Pretty versatile, and inoffensive. It definitely has a mood, though—soft.Glad I purchased it! It’s a safe blind buy.

Good! Other lataffa scents are better
Beautiful fragrance that is not too strong considering the notes. I do not think the scent lasts as long as I would like it to however.IMO, lataffa bad’ee al oud honor and glory (the white one, NOT the red one) is very very similar but lasts much longer. I probably won’t repurchase but I will absolutely repurchase honor and glory

Warm cozy scent
I absolutely love Liam Grey! It leans a tad bit masculine & is the perfect cozy rainy day fragrance. It’s a bit sweet & warm. I let my bottle sit for a few months knowing it may need to settle for the colder months. Perfectly suitable for daily wear, including the office. It’s not beast mode or overpowering but it’s got a perfect level of silage & I could see this being an easy reach in cooler months.

Excellent unisex everyday wear with spice and fresh woodsy tones
Was a big fan of Lattafa Khamrah when I tried it, easy addition to the fragrance collection. I was blown away by how complex and luxurious it was paired with an unbelievable price point. So I thought I'd give a few other Lattafa products a try in that price point. No, I don't really know that much about fragrances, but I saw some videos saying this is sort of like a dupe of BDK's Gris Charnel. Haven't smelled that so can't compare, but I really did like this fragrance. It sort of felt basic when I first tried it, but it's actually grown on me over time. If you've tried Khamrah, this is definitely in that ballpark of woodsy, musky, spicy, rich, but on a much more toned down level. This one plays to me like a more reliable everyday wear for daytime or work, or casual nights out. Khamrah just has that little bit extra elevation to it that gives it a luxurious aspect. This is a solid fragrance though with a woodsy sort of spicy tone, with cardamom and vetiver. I'm a male but I think this could work well as a unisex fragrance and for the price point, I think this is definitely great value for that price. I'd purchase this again.

Buen perfume
Perfume cálido, delicioso y embriagado que no empalaga, el dulzor del higo mezclado con el té negro y el iris da un aroma increíble.
