Funko DIY Pop!: Female

I ordered both the female and the male one to make an anniversary present for my partner and they turned out great! I used apoxie sculpt for the details and painted with acrylic. This is a great blank to work on, so much easier than modifying one already made!

Got this for my sister's boyfriend's daughter (almost niece-in-law) . . . I got both DIY characters, acrylic paints and paintbrushes. She loves that she can make this (over and over again) into whoever or whatever she wants. Because of her age I left out the sculpting pieces that you can make hair and capes with. Great deal for making someone happy that loves to be creative - specifically a tween that keeps changing her mind in what she wants.

These female DIY POPs should have a more feminine figure, or at least give that option. It looks more like an NFL 'line backer' with it's stance & build than a typical female pose & shape.

I love mine! It turn out so cute! I used Apoxie Sculpt 1 Lb. White for the hair and clothes and sculpted the finer details with Flexible Fimo Clay Sculpting Shapers . I painted her with Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint Matte (Walmart) and finished her with Plaid Clear Acrylic Sealer (also Walmart). I just love the way she came out!

I have to rate the product itself and remember not to base it on my sculpting abilities. I'm a huge Funko Pop fan, and got the Female/Male Funkos for my podcast, for myself and my co-host. We keep them on our desk while recording! My advice would be, watch as many YouTube videos as you can on how to do this properly, there are a lot out there. Good luck!

ordered one of these before and the paint didn't stick well and was cracking so I ordered some more. 1- Microwave water for 2 minutes. 2- Let soak for 10 Minutes ( it will get really soft. 3- twist the head and it will pop right off. Be sure to hold the Big Circle under the Head. That way you can have an easier time painting the Body and adding clay to it.!

These DIY Funko Pop!s are available in both male and female variation. They are the same size and quality as regular Funko Pop! but without the colors, designs or molding/details... a "blank canvas" so to speak. The figures are ready to be painted right out of the box and/or for those whom are more crafty/artistic can use sculpting clay to add even more detail, hair style, clothing, accessories etc. So many possibilities! Muy bueno. En realidad no cambia mucho su aspecto en relación al Funko DIY Male...pero ahorras pasos al momento de hacer una customización. Sin embargo su calidad es excelente.
