What are they? Eight bucks each?These grade B beans are such a nice alternative to the grade A stuff. It's exactly the same flavor and pungency, but in a different package. Chopped into 1 inch pieces, I used these to make home made vanilla extract, vanilla syrup and vanilla sugar. If you are just starting out, and want to experiment without breaking the bank, this is adequate.If you are an advanced baker, these are not for you. They are 1/3 the size of what is gotten commercially off the shelf. You can smell them through the packaging- so air is getting in. The smell is true. In my opinion, I would be better off buying locally for the higher price.
