Best of both worlds
I liked the fact that these won't rust and that they won't vibrate off. Most off road lighting uses these as well and I didn't have any issues with them, so when I saw these I thought why not have some of my own. Sometimes when things get delivered by who knows who, sometimes the boxes are damaged and of course the fasteners are missing. Try them if you are having your lights coming lose with the regular nuts, even if they came with the locking washers these S/S NYLOC NUTS are the ones to use.

So-so nuts, but seller met -and exceeded- expectations
[Edit] the vendor contacted me the same day I posted the review, by their own initiative, and offered to issue a refund. So, even though I had issues with the nuts, I am satisfied with the transaction. Excellent seller![Original review] Something in these nuts make them "shave" slivers of the threaded rods' metal. I'm writing this after removing some metal splinters from my hands, but I can still feel some.I'm using these on M8 threaded rods purchased on Amazon as well, so there's always the chance the rods are the issue. However, I have used other rods of the same batch with nuts purchased at a reputable, brick and mortar hardware store, and those work perfectly. So, I tend to believe the issue are these nuts.
