I Loved System Shock 2.
I had never played the original system shock. So I couldn’t resist when I heard it had come out for Xbox series X. I was excited to learn that it was not just a remaster, but a remake. I hope that they do the sequel as well!

Great Retro Remake
If you love retro style games this will due. Picked this up for Xbox and couldn’t be happier. The retro style graphics and music is there but with a slick polish. The game is not easy but that is part of what makes it retro. Recommended for old school gamers who want a taste of decades past. Enjoy!

Fun so far but...
I can't compare this to the original System Shock as I've never played it back on the PC. I did spend a lot of time on SS2 though. The only real complaint I have so far is there is very little to help you on your way. No objective list that I can see, only thing you have to go on is messages from dead npc's. No objective marker on the map to show you where in the heck you are supposed to go. You're basically on your own as far as figuring out how to manage your inventory, the mechanics of solving puzzles, fuguring out what exactly it is you are supposed ot be doing, etc.. if you can put up with a little aggravation it's still a fun game once you figure these things out. Hope they are working on System Shock 2 port.
