For my setup my camera does not fit in the bag with the strap on and I would always have to take the strap off to stow my camera. I use a Peak-design strap and even with the quick release tabs you had to have a hand on the strap when removing or something will hit the ground. With this quick release the strap becomes hands free. I just leave the strap over my shoulder all day and go from the bag to the strap and back supper fast. This has become one of those simple everyday items I use every time i use my camera and is now a mush have in my camera kit. Review: Great design and improved camera/strap function! - Fantastic piece of kit and a great addition to my camera strap! The base plate stays on body at all times, and works well with my tripod. While the actual QR portion with two peak designs toggles stays attached to the camera strap. This allows me to switch between the traditional strap attachment locations on camera body (working well with shorter prime lenses) and the FALCAM QR attachment option (allowing longer/heavier lenses to hang naturally downward) This setup also allows me to more quickly remove the strap altogether for awkward shots in precarious positions. As an added bonus the locking mechanism stays open once the camera is removed from the QR plate, so you only need to depress the button to release it. The camera slides back in easily and the locking mechanism audibly snaps closed. Been using this for a couple weeks now and zero issues. Very happy customer! Definitely would recommend! ## Features - Instant 1-Second Quick Release & 4-Way Slide-In Never miss a moment. The redesigned flip-up clamp allows the upgraded anti-slip Arca-Swiss plate to slide in from all four directions—front, back, left, or right—for a lightning-fast, secure lock. No more fumbling with screws or alignment. - Open Arca-Swiss Standard with Optimized Lug Design Bound by no limits. The universal Arca-Swiss plate is directly compatible with F38 system accessories and mainstream tripod ball heads. The optimized lug hole structure allows your camera to fit the F38 standard mount even with the quick-release buckle attached—no need to untie the nylon cord. - Upgraded Anti-Slip Plate with Rock-Solid 20kg Load The new F38 plate features a dual-upgraded anti-slip design and an integrated rubber pad that increases surface friction for stability. The base lug can hold up to 44lbs/20kg, while the added stainless steel and graphite nylon washers effectively prevent screw loosening on the move. - Tool-Free Mount & Ergonomic Comfort Attach the F38 clip to backpack straps, belts, or shoulder straps in seconds with the innovative nylon cord system—no tools required. The base is crafted from lightweight 6061 aluminum alloy, and its flexible design fits the curve of your waist naturally without digging in. - Lightweight 6061 Aluminum Build & Proven Reliability Weighing just 60g / 2.1oz, this classic four-way plate adds zero bulk to your setup. That is a good feature. Nice materials, Very sturdy. Is comortable to use and the camera hangs a lot better than with traditional strap. Used the Canon shoulder strap with it. Fits perfectly. Only thing that the plate is quite small so I cannot use it with my Manfrotto head on a tripod. I have to switch the plate on the camera. ## Frequently Bought Together - FALCAM F38 Camera Strap Quick Release Kit, Camera Holder for Neck/Shoulder Strap, Plate and Base - 3142 - FALCAM F38 Camera Clip Kit V2, F38 Backpack Clip with Plate for Backpack Strap and Camera F38B3803 - FALCAM F38 Quick Release Kit V2, Quick Release System, Base and Plate with 1/4" and 3/8" Screw Thread for Tripod, Monopod, Stabilizer, Slider - F38B3404 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/615890014-falcam-f38-camera-strap-quick-release-kit](https://www.desertcart.in/products/615890014-falcam-f38-camera-strap-quick-release-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
