The rabbit did have very sharp nails, but the net strength was great. It's also collapsible which was very easy for storage. Lightweight and great value for the price Review: Kitten Net - I have a feral kitten that I trapped, and have had a lot of difficulty socializing (recently discovered he is deaf). Every time I would try to put food in his room, he would manage to run out, and then it took forever to catch him. My veterinarian had suggested a net (for a different issue), but one day I thought let me try it for this kitten. I use it very carefully after my vet showed me how to use it, but all I had to actually do was show this to him and he would stay in the room. (I never touched him with it!). I no longer have a need to use it, but it was an absolute lifesaver as I have a multi-cat household and was also having pain with bending over trying to catch him at the time. A Caution: learn how to use the net prior to use on an animal in order not to harm them.
