Love it!
I absolutely love this casserole dish! It cooks evenly and beautifully! It looks beautiful as a display in my dining room. It came very well packaged. It was easy to clean after I soaked it in soapy water for an hour.

Arrived in pieces
I received this product in pieces and am having issues returning it. I love Le Crueset but hard to comment when it arrives in pieces!

Just the basics…but done handsomely and with meticulous care
Some things you buy aren't particularly flashy or brimming with features…the Le Creuset casserole is one of them. It is just a really well made, well-thought out, handsome-looking bit of ceramic that does a great job at making gratins and casseroles. I have made several with it, and they have all come out great (and that is saying something because I'm a pretty lousy cook). The casserole is just one of those things that does what it does simply, but extremely well. Yes, it's pricey…but it's going to last a lifetime and do as well the after a hundred uses as it does for the first. I don't think it matter, but for what it's worth, I clean it by hand…it's really easy to clean…I suppose it would be okay in the dishwaher…but I think cleaning by hand would probably be better…longevity wise.

Made in China..
Arrived well packaged. Lovely color and the size is great. Heavy duty and the lid is a good fit. Only downside… a very small sticker on the base: Made in China. That’s disappointing. I looked up online where Le Creuset are made; come to find some items are indeed made in China. I have several Le Creuset products that I’ve brought over the years and have withstood the test of time. We’ll see how this baking dish holds up.
