Could be good for baby ferrets but grown ferrets likely wouldn't use it because it can't fit their whole body comfortably. Mine absolutely refused to use it no matter what I tried. When my family took in some 4 week old orphaned kittens this worked perfectly for them due to the low edges making it easy to climb in.
