Review: Provides essential protection - Just got it a few days ago but so far it is just what I was looking for, and today I am ordering a second one. I have a desk made from painted wood, and my desk chair occasionally bumps it, leaving scratches or scraping off a bit of paint on the front edge. Those marks detract from the appearance of an otherwise beautiful desk, and it drives my wife crazy. I was trying to avoid being forced to use a glass top, and glass tops aren't perfect at protecting the front edge anyway, just the top. The front edge is where 99% of the damage occurs. See the attached before and after photos showing the problem, and how it looks after this solution. The lip on this is perfect for protecting the desk from damage and it solves my problem. The manufacturer is very clear that you shouldn't put hot items on it, but other than that it does just what I need. My only wish is that it was available in more sizes, I'd like one a bit larger. I'm tossing a couple older desk pads to replace them with two of these.
Review: Clean look - Good quality, provides and elegant feel and look. Easy to wipe.
