Mares Avanti Quattro Plus Open Heel Bungee Strap Fin

I’m a very experienced scuba diver and afternoon trying many fin types I have finally settled on Avanti Quattros as my favourites. The level of precision and control you get from these is second to none, I can turn on a dime with a subtle ankle flick, the ridges make it feel like I have fingers on the end of my fins. When you want to go quick the power is there, when finning hard the fin is Very heavy but offers huge power. The only downside is the size, they’re enormous! They can be annoying to pack. Oh and the replacement bungee straps are heinously priced.

I love mares a avanti Quattro plus fins best all rounder on the market I’ve had several pairs over the years and wouldn’t use any thing else the new ones are even better than the old model and still a good price

Great pair of fins, comfortable and so easy to get on and off with an extra little loop for your finger to make sure to don't lose them in the process. Great fins, would recommend.

Great for attracting seals!

Love these but after only 20 dives the ‘nub’ on one fin for one of the bungees has distorted and it keeps popping off. Apparently Mares are aware of this issue but not actively replacing affected fins.

Love these fins, very effective under water. Although the product was advertised at a price. I ordered it. The seller cancelled my order and raised the price. I still ordered it again because they are worth it

I bought a pair and found them great in use. However after only a few months one of them split on the side making it useless. I bought another pair, which after 2 months split down one of the black rubber lengthwise channels. Nice in use but far too flimsy.

Amazing. Spot On perfect in every way.

Robust, stylish, great finish, exact size. My size is 44-44.5 which corresponds to XL. Only drawback is it's long enough to kick the diver behind you if you are leading the dive. Highly recommended as it's all around diving fins.

Las Mares Avanti Quattro son una pasada. Son súper cómodas, potentes y fáciles de usar. Tiene un diseño que te ayudan a moverte bajo el agua casi sin esfuerzo. No son muy pesadas. Además, aguantan un montón y las correas ajustables (bungee), son súper prácticas. Perfectas para buceadores de cualquier nivel. ¡Muy recomendadas!

Soy buzo de cueva e instructor de buceo recreativo. Para mí , estas aletas son unas de las mejores aletas en el mercado. Cada billete invertido en mis Mares valió la pena. Muy contento con ellas

Provenivo da delle Cressi Pro Light acquistate agli inizi della mia esperienza da sub: pinne ottime ma a cui negli ultimi tempi mancava qualcosa. Leggendo le recensioni in giro per il web ho deciso di puntare su queste Mares Avanti quattro +; all'arrivo sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso; la qualità c'è e si vede, le pinne al tatto sono di un materiale che sembra morbido ma estremamente resistente, la prima idea che hai è quella di solidità. Le dimensioni sono nella media, la pala e larga e solo questo ti da subito l'idea di una forte spinta. Il peso si attesta intorno al kg cadauna forse qualcosa di meno, per cui non sono sicuramente dei macigni. Passiamo alla prova pratica. Gli bungee strap sono facilmente indossabili sia fuori che in acqua, nessun problema e la calzata è perfetta senza movimenti. Per quanto riguarda la galleggiabilità sono una via di mezzo tra il neutro ed il negativo, molto tendente al neutro, per me questo è un aspetto positivo visto che le vecchie pro light erano fortemente negative e dovevo sempre spingere le gambe in altro per raggiungere l'assetto voluto, con queste è molto più facile. Per quanto riguarda la pinneggiata, ho sentito una maggiore "resistenza" nei muscoli delle gambe rispetto alle pro light, ma parliamo di un'inezia. Spinta: fantastica!!!! Con leggeri movimenti delle gambe ci si muove che è una meraviglia; ciò che mi ha più impressionato è la pinneggiata a rana; con una spinta si fanno km :-). Per quanto riguarda la calzata le ho scelte nella taglia S che corrisponderebbe ad un 37-39, porto un 40 di piede e le ho usate con calzari Seac da 5mm taglia S; PERFETTE, ne strette ne larghe. Il prezzo è sicuramente diverso da altre pinne economiche, ma penso che rimarranno le mie pinne per moltissimi anni
