This works equally well. I wish it were a little thicker, a little less sweet, and could be bought in much larger portions. Personally, I got hooked on baking soda toothpaste that tasted salty, back in the 90's, and then they quit making it. I feel that things which taste sweet and sugary are not "clean" and mint is irritating and "sweet" to me. The quest for non-mint toothpaste that does not taste like candy or dirt is a long one. Many don't have fluoride, but use sweet xylitol instead.
