i did not expect to love this bread machine as much as I do, but it has quickly become one of my favorite things in my kitchen. There is nothing better than the smell of fresh bread baking in the house. It gives the whole home a warm, comforting feeling that you just do not get from store-bought bread. The kids are eating it as fast as I can bake it. What I appreciate most is knowing exactly what is going into the bread I’m feeding my family. I love being able to make fresh homemade bread without all the preservatives and unnecessary ingredients that are often added to packaged bread. It feels good knowing the bread is fresh, simple, and made with ingredients I chose myself. The machine itself is very easy to use. I can add the ingredients, set the cycle, and let it do the work. The mixing, kneading, rising, and baking all happen perfectly with very little effort on my part. The bread comes out soft, fluffy, and flavorful every time, with a beautiful crust and that homemade texture you hope for. I also appreciate that cleanup is simple and quick. Nothing about using this machine feels complicated or overwhelming, which makes it realistic to use regularly instead of something that just sits in a cabinet. This bread maker has made homemade bread feel easy and enjoyable again. My family loves it, my kitchen smells amazing, and I genuinely look forward to making bread now. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable bread machine that makes delicious homemade bread with less stress and more enjoyment.

Purchased this bread machine for $99, on sale!! Never used a bread machine in my life!! However, he hands are starting to lock/cramp, so I treated myself to this KBS 19-IN-1 Programable Bread maker. I wanted something basic/simple, with easy buttons to use. This was it!!! I have no regrets. Use it for the first time today, my bread came out perfect!! I baked it on (medium) color, but next time I'll try (light). It mixes/fermentates/ rises/bakes with no issues. The baking container seems small, but it bakes a good amount of bread. I split the bread loaf with my neighbor, and she was very impressed with the amount of bread at the end. The machine has a nice weight to it. When the dough is mixing...it makes noise, but nothing major. I made the 1-1/2 lb loaf. **((What I did after the 2nd mix/rises))...I removed the dough and dough hook, reshaped the dough, and replaced it in baking container w/o the dough hook, (before the baking started). Once it does fermentation #3, it goes straight to baking. I did a egg wash w/water, and added sesame seeds on top. I'm going to try different recipes, I can't wait!!!

Durability: The housing seems a bit thin, but it functions just fine. All other accessories work well too. The machine moves on your countertop, so make sure you do not put it on the edge. You can add a container in front if you're concerned to keep it more stable. Sometimes the touch buttons seems to not be sensitive enough and has to be pressed multiple times to work. Sound: Mostly quiet while in use. When the nut dispenser releases however, it is a bit jarring until you realize what the noise is. Overall my dishwasher (Bosch) is slightly louder than the bread machine; so you forget it's on till it let's you know it's on. Use: Not difficult to use. The instructions, do leave you with a few questions, but once you turn it on and it begins to cycle, there is clarity. If you expect your bread to match the picture, you have to be an advanced baker. There are certain steps you have to take in order for it to look like the picture, but you wouldn't know this unless you are accustomed to baking a variety of breads. There is a slight issue with the time in the booklet. It is off slightly as they have added more time to a certain function of the machine. A sticker just can't be placed on the overall time without adjusting all of the columns to match their proper time. There is a hot plate you can use while it's cooking. Seems like a perfect time to melt your butter for the soon to be finished bread or popcorn. Look forward to trying. Taste: it tastes great every time. I make sourdough with my own recipe. As you see from the pictures, it looks like a beautiful loaf of bread when I use the sourdough setting. *Pictures: 3, 4, 7. It was soft and cuts nicely. I only make sourdough, but was curious to see if I can make a quicker version with the machine, as you will read below. Test: Photo 5 and 6 was a test to see if I could use my sourdough starter on another setting that's faster. Number (5) five came out slightly raw so I ended up cutting it into strips and making french toast sticks. Number (6) six came out heavy, and tasted like a homemade soft pretzel. I will be using the sourdough setting from now on as you see in the other photos (3, 4, 7) the bread comes out beautiful. I suggest you follow their recipe for these settings or create your own that will work. After care customer service: John was quick to set up the warranty as well as respond to a scratching noise I was hearing. Response time was within, mostly, 24 hours or 1 business day. My issue was resolved quickly (with a replacement) and I greatly appreciate this type of customer service. Overall experience: This has been a great addition for my kitchen. As an advanced baker, I was able to recreate my banana nut bread (photo 1) almost exactly as baking it in the oven. The cake function does not dispense nuts, but I was able to recreate the bread with a beautiful top despite that. The breads I made had a nice rise (except for the test). My family and I were pleased with the watermelon preserve (photo 2), it tasted great and did not burn. I would definitely make a jam again. I love the slightly raised handle on the bread barrel as it makes grabbing it to remove or insert easier. There were a few hiccups, but nothing major in my opinion to deter you from purchasing this wonderful product, especially with the great customer service. It's an asset to your kitchen. Final thoughts: I do highly recommend this 3lb bread machine. I have a large family and it has saved me a great deal of time. I'm excited to dive into the additional features it has to offer as well as creating new bread for my family to enjoy. Since we eat sourdough, this machine has been great as I'm able to have fresh bread for my family when we wake instead of them waiting about an hour after putting it in the oven from overnight cold proofing. This has also saved me from having to set a timer to stretch and fold. My kitchen stays cooler from this addition. This has truly been a great assist to my family's bread demand. Now take a look at all the photos provided, then if you think it's right for your family, grab your machine so you can save time too!

This breadmaker has the option of making 2, 2 1/2 and 3 lb loaves. The pictures show only a portion of a loaf, it is very hard to keep enough made since everyone loves it. I especially like how the pamphlet tells you how to modify or substitute ingredients according to your needs. You can customize the rest times, the knead, etc. if you want to, but it has many presets so you don't have to if you don't want. I especially love the french bread recipe, it is crusty on the outside and chewy in the middle just as it should be. Cakes, jams and yogurts are next on my list to do with this all around fun machine to play with. If you like to create in the kitchen or just need that reliable piece that acts as an extra pair of hands for wholesome food, then this machine is for you. Fantastic customer service. My little nut dispenser was wobbly and they replaced it immediately. I've never encountered such respect and care from a company. Highly recommend.

Update 1/31/2025 After posting my review, customer service contacted me, even though I had already requested a replacement through Amazon because the first unit was unusable. The replacement included all the accessories, including the stirring rod that was missing from the original. I informed them of this, and they still sent me an extra pan and stirring rod! I used it for the first time last night to make pizza dough, and it worked great. While not the quietest appliance, the dough turned out perfectly, and the machine was easy to use. I'm very excited to try more of the bread recipes included with this machine. Was so excited to get this and when I opened it up was missing all accessories and the stirring rod so I can't even use it. Contacted the manufacturer via email and no response yet , not very good customer service guess will just return and order from another trusted company.

Ordered this newer model bread maker because there is a gluten free option. I haven’t had a chance to make gluten free bread yet but I made a small loaf to test it out. The directions were easy to follow, there’s lots of settings and options, I like it is more compact than some other models and the bread was delicious. Easy to clean and store and this company has great customer service. Customer service is prompt to respond and helpful with inquiries and truly seems to care about its products, which is rare to find these days.

I purchased the MBF-011 in late February, 2024 to replace a well worn-out 1990’s Breadman machine. I was impressed with the oval shape of the pan that would produce a loaf shape much more like store bought. The multiple settings provided and degree of timing control within those settings is also impressive. I initially made 2 loaves of 1 lb bread, the first a French loaf using the provided recipe book and the second a honey white loaf using a recipe of my own. Both came out evenly baked with a nice crust, and tasty. I did have a problem with the pan being difficult to remove. A twisting motion is required that appeared to require too much force. I contacted John at Customer Service. He quickly responded with suggestions for easier removal and also offered to send a new pan and paddle! The new pan arrived the next day and performed without further incident. I obtained a new MBF-016 that was delivered April 10th, 2024 and I proceeded to compare the equipment and to make some bread. The new model is slightly lighter, 9.2 vs 12.8 lbs. with a smaller motor and single heating element. The new machine provided 19 functions vs 17, and did not provide a fruit & nut dispenser. The new keypad is push button vs touch sensitive. The operating functions are significantly different, each allowing a different degree of control over certain functions. It takes a bit of studying to become familiar with all of them. Fortunately, the “default” settings on both will probably satisfy all but the most adventurist baker. I proceeded to make several loaves in a side-by-side comparison. The MBF-011 had a stronger stirring/kneading motion but the MBF-016 also performed well and did not struggle with any of the breads. Pictures below are images of a honey white, whole wheat, and pumpernickel. All were evenly baked, with a nice crust and good density. The MBF-011 took slightly longer to complete its cycles and produced a loaf that was slightly higher than the MBF-016. A caution: Most of the recipes I have seen published equate loaf size with quantity of flour specified, e.g., 1 lb = 2 cups, 1.5 lb = 3 cups, and 2 lb = 4 cups. I attempted to make a 2 lb, 4 cup sourdough recipe that overflowed the pan. I then tried a 2 lb whole wheat recipe from the provided instructions and it came out fine. The flour quantity, however was 3 cups and the resulting bread loaf was 1 ¾ lb. This is not a major issue for me as I rarely would want to make a 2 lb loaf and it appears that the machine settings are fine for the recipe sizes I have used to date. Overall, both machines performed as expected, providing excellent results for all breads tried so far. Customer service has been excellent. Documentation & recipe instructions are adequate but could use some editing & improvement.

I really love this machine. I have the machine prior to this one and loved it but once this came out, I had to get it. It has dual heating elements and a nut/seed dispenser which is what I wanted originally. It also has an extra paddle, an oven mitt, measuring cup, measuring spoon and a paddle puller. Also comes with the manual, recipe book and quick start guide. 20 functions plus 2 custom functions. This machine goes beyond your usual machine by giving you 2lb, 2.5lb and 3lb options for larger families. I'm very happy because this one came in Stainless Steel which matches most of my other kitchen appliances. I made a 3 lb. loaf today and it came out delicious. I would definitely recommend this machine; you will be very happy with it. Another thing I noticed is it was very quiet and I had to check on it a few times to make sure it was still running. Get it, make some bread, save money and make something delicious.

I love this bread machine! I grew up with a cuisinart bread machine, and wanted something that could give me a similar experience for a lower price. This was the third bread maker I have used, and it has never let me down! I use it to make bread, pizza dough, and dough for pastries. Pros: - Multiple different settings - Easy to use - Options to delay start time - Easy to use interface - Comes with instruction manual and recipe cards for each bread setting - Dishwasher safe* Cons: - * I put the bread basket in the dishwasher, and the exterior of the basket is not dishwasher safe, so the metal rubs off when you're holding it. The inside part that holds the bread is non-stick and dishwasher safe. - Since putting in the mixing paddle, it is stuck in there and cannot come out. No matter how hard I try, it cannot budge. So now it is just a part of the bread bucket. Despite this, I can still clean it well without issues. Overall, I definitely recommend!

Makes great bread, but it is quite loud and moves around on the counter on its own when it's mixing.

very disapointed this machine has a default the temperature is never the same so it makes the breads collapse or great what to say i tried everything change yeast change the water temperature change recipe to no avail and now i cannot return it,if you want my advice buy another one that has more wattage.
