Kenwood Ham Radio Programming Radio
I picked up a used Kenwood v71a dual band radio. This cable worked flawlessly to program it. Windows 10 found it immediately and it just worked. Also tried it on my Kenwood D710a and it worked for that radio too. Functionally, this is a good cable at a reasonable price. Good buy!

Works great!
Very simple yet well-constructed cable for programming the D710. I don't need a USB version as I'm using it with Windows 7. If I was running Windows 10 then I'd look for a FTDI chipset version.

Great Aftermarket Cable
It has a 90 degree end so you can actually connect to the back of the d710 head while it is setup as panel mount. Great for field work using the d710 on board 1200/9600 baud TNC.
