If you cannot find the wrench, you can use a standard 1/4-inch Allen wrench, or click here to order a replacement."This implies that every InSinkErator disposal does have the hole. It might not feel like it's there if the wrench you try to use is too big or too small.BTW, We just unjammed our disposal using a 1/4" Allen wrench. It did take some muscle -- my husband had to do it because I could not get it to turn, and it even took him some effort -- but it worked! **Q: so basically you can just do this with the right size allen wrench?** A: If your insinkerator is jammed then using this special Allen key may unblock the waste stuck at the bottom. In my case it didn't work only because I also had a leaky tap. When that was fixed the unit worked again.
