That is the perfect length for me, I can kneel without kneeling on the apron and it covers my chest, abdomen and upper legs. **Q: How would this take hot sparks from metal work?** A: Sorry have not tried it yet. The Cotten is quite thick. I think if it was me I would use a leather apron for metal work.
