I debated about buying this or the smaller version; the larger one is perfect on the pole. Love the remote and the ability to change light color and brightness. Now we have needed light where we could not run an electrical line.

Not even 3-4 months and too is rusted and condensation in the windows. Happened all that I ordered.

What I like: the three different modes for type of light from cold to warm. The quality of the lamp itself. It is well made. It’s huge. Not crazy about: how it wiggles and shimmies in a good breeze. After rain it does steam up the glass as my photo shows. This is probably due to the fact that the glass panes are all glued in so they don’t rattle but also to keep rain water out. But moisture inevitably will get in (does) and because it’s sealed up so good it has nowhere to go. I’m thinking of cutting away some of the glue to allow one pane to move and allow air to get in. Most likely water as well but it should also dry out quicker. Otherwise panes get foggy all next day and more after a rain. Would I buy again? Probably.

This light was quite large when I saw it in person, even though I knew it would be big. I have it illuminating some old stone steps leading to my front porch that are not flat and can be pretty treacherous. I got this because I didn't want to run power to the area and I like that it has clear glass on all sides so that I get maximum brightness out of it. I use the pier mount it came with and some concrete screws and it feels solid. The remote is kind of neat and kind of gimmicky, but for set and forget type of deal it works fine. Overall, I'm pleased with this solar powered light for my use case. It lights up well and seems like it should last a long time.

I am extremely happy with this solar light. I installed this at the entrance of my driveway which is shaded by oak, beech, birch and hemlock trees so the area doesn't get too much direct sunlight. No other solar light I have installed in that spot has really been effective except this solar lantern. Despite the lack of direct sunlight, the lamp manages to charge well and a charge illuminates my driveway until 2am in February.

These are beautiful if you’re not looking too closely. They wobble a bit when touched and they fog up with moisture every night and the fogged glass lasts until after noon. But they shine brightly, turning on automatically at dusk which I love and they last until after midnight. I love that you can change the color temperature from warm to neutral to cool as well. I keep Mine neutral to match my other wired lights. I wish they didn’t fog up so much but overall I like them enough to keep.

Very nice 20” Solar Lamp Post Light by Poxran. We installed the Lamp Post Light on our mailbox post and it looks great. It illuminates the end of our driveway very well and makes our home easy to find for friends coming to visit. Installation was relatively easy with the enclosed instructions – all necessary materials were included. This modern style solar light matches the rest of the lights we have around our property. It took an afternoon to charge and now it stays on for 6-7 hours after dark. It charges very well on a sunny day but charges on overcast days as well, and it holds a charge for many hours. It has made it through a few thunderstorms already without any leaks in the light or battery compartment. It appears to be well-constructed and durable through weather conditions. Very happy with it! A+

I bought 4 of them - they are NOT water proof and two of four I bought were defective! Cheaply made and the light is very dim. Please stay away. Not worth the money.
