The treatment, Willow received at the hands of those who were supposed to love her, was diabolical she had two great friends in Eddie and Kirby (who I like to think that my name inspired her smile emoticon ) Willow's ex, sister and step father were the most dreadful excuses for human beings and got everything they deserved. The girls' night in were hilarious, and I am glad that Kane also joined in. Wow, the shocker of Mia's babys parentage, once revealed although there were little clues, which I had missed! I just loved how Willow's confidence grew, she really blossomed into a truly caring lady, happy to stick up for anyone she felt needed it. Kane could have handled some situations differently, but then that would not have made it the epic story it is. Great page turner with a great storyline. This book gave me all the 'feels' whilst reading. This is one amazing book. She believes she's fat, tries to hide herself away from the world and has struggled through a lifetime of verbal abuse from her stepfather and stepsister. She has two great friends, Kirby and Eddie, who stand by her side and crusade together to help Willow understand just how beautiful she is throughout. It's not until she meets Kane Masters, most eligible bachelor and mega movie star, that she begins to finally realise her self worth. Willow's journey is one that many young women may relate to in some way and I think for that reason, it is a great read. Extraordinary. A HUGE 5 stars not just for the story, but to Harper Sloan for putting herself out there to fight her own demons knowing that there's so many other women that fight a daily constant battle with themselves to see the person they are inside which is sometimes so hard, it takes that one special person to give you the strength to look inside yourself!! Secondly....I think I'm love not only with Kane Masters...duh...that's a given, the man is beautiful in and out!!! But also with Willow Tate, she's such a fighter and so much strength even after they tried to break her will....she fought back for herself but with Kane by her side she fought to stand 7ft tall against them her stepfather, her sister, her ex husband the ones who knocked her down. I loved Kirby and Eddie her best friends!! I'm not going to go into the story of this book, just know this is a story of Pride, strength, determination but most of all LOVE and I loved it. I've read every book of Harper Sloans and she never fails to deliver but what I think gets me more with this particular story it's a personal battle and it shows how ignorant and cruel people can be when you don't fit in to the size category but at the end of it all its how beautiful you are on the inside that counts.
