Xerox WorkCentre 6515dn A4 28ppm Colour Multifunction LED / Laser Printer with Duplex printing

Really pleased with the Workcentre 6515dn. Perhaps a little bit tricky to set up and probably a bit too complex for my home working office but it does everything I need and more. Print quality and speed excellent. Scan to email really useful. I got a great deal on Black Friday too. Major draw was the availability of non-oem cartridges to reduce running costs.

This printer has tons of features for the price. (WAIT FOR IT) However most features are accessible through network (i guess it called word centre for a reason). Anyway, the zerox easy print is working.HOWEVER,The printer can not browse for local network (where most features are embedded) . Yet once again before you blame my network settings or windows 10. The printer cannot browse for starters. So the error displaying on printer is not "" can not find network" the error is "cannot browse for networks).After spending long time trying to figure it out and looking at xerox troubleshooting,AND following all the steps. Nothing seemed to work.I checked xerox forums, and one guy has had the same problem in 2021.xerox referred to all the troubleshooting information that i have already tried. The forum poster was also frustrated amd highlighted that xerox new firmware installed in 2021 did lead to that problem of printer not being able to browse for local network. The forum recommended technical support, which was my last step. After contacting technical team, the call handler (who i was very skeptical would solve /understand such technical issue) was not even able to find my printer's serial number.After repeating my number 10 times, he said he cannot provide technical support (as if he knew any) because the device is not registered. Ihave explained that i registered the printer twice (once through the driver installation as well as xerox uk warrenty.After referring me to customer service to register the printer, the customer service was not able to find any printer with my printer's serial number, and i would be unable to get any support.Later i received email that the customer service can not even find the serial number on ERSP server.It is a joke.Obviously not Wasting more time on this, or run out of amazon 'sreturn, had to return it.Dont be fooled with the price given the enormous features. This is a 7 years old printer FYI but a beast. Obviously being that old updates and firmware do bug and i am very sure those who are happy with it have never tried the network connection before hence it is not a plug play easy process.Note, that, according to xerox forums and before the new update in 2021.everything was working find. Obviously now izs cheap because you can only use it with xerox easy print (onlx 20% features)

Before buying this I had an OKI colour laser printer and a Epson all in one photo printer but didn’t have the room to have them all in my home office so decided to get rid of them and buy this Xerox multifunction colour laser printer. When originally looking for the printer to replace my other two I needed something that had very good print quality do the job of both of my other printers combined but also could be cheap to run and have OEM compatible Toner cartridges available as everybody knows official minute facture toners always exuberantly overpriced.This printer seemEd to fit the bill perfectly and upon arrival it certainly didn’t disappoint so thought I would leave it A little while before writing a review.Now been using it for if couple of months I must say I am so glad that I bought this model not only does it do everything that I could possibly want it to but also compatible toner cartridges are easy to find and really good quality. I really like the way that you change the cartridges so much easier than my old OKI printer.The print quality is superb from the moment you get it out the box it’s also extremely easy to set up for printing although it did take me a little while to find out how to automatically scan Something and send it directly over to the computer rather than just copying it.All in all very happy with this printer and can’t recommend it enough

Firstly, this is a 'long-term' review, I've had this WorkCentre for 2 & a half years almost.All I can say is, you will no doubt be happy with owning it up until the 18 month onwards mark. Any time after that it will be pot luck, but the scanner functionality WILL break, despite hardly using it as a scanner at all. Well documented issue online and basically cheaper to buy a new AiO or separate scanner than to get the Xerox fixed.I now just have a printer with a broken scanner bolted on the top. Print quality is fine but the fact that Xerox are failing to address common scanning hardware failures is beyond me.I thought I would buy this as it would be 'longer lasting' than standard inkjet printers ...truth is, they just aren't built to last and I will just continue buying the cheap and cheerful AiO's when the printing side of things packs up.STEER CLEAR!

Great printer with automatic double sided printing.Much larger and heavier than it appears, buts lots of features.LAN only connection on the model (No WIFI) and make sure you have enough room for it.Recommended

Der Drucker arbeitet außergewöhnlich gut und liefert präzise und hochqualitative Drucke. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Scan-Funktion, die hervorragende doppelseitige Scans produziert. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln, außer vielleicht die Größe, aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Ich würde diesen Drucker ohne zu zögern wieder kaufen.

Sono andato sul sicuro con Xerox dopo averne in azienda 3 fotocopiatrici a noleggio. Davvero un'ottima multifunzione con stampa fronte/retro, modulo wi fi incluso tutto all'interno di un prodotto molto compatto e di ottima qualità. Venditori molto seri che mi hanno chiamato prima della spedizione proponendomi allo stesso prezzo il modello Wi Fi.

Quand on appelle le service technique Xeros, j'apprends que le numéro de série n'a pas été enregistré sur leur plate forme.Amazone qui est responsable du sérieux des entreprises qu'elles retient sur sa plate-forme n'en a cure et préfère envoyer des mails automatiques pour savoir d'un oui ou un non si le problème a été traité

Das Gerät wurde prompt geliefert, jetzt mittlerweile schon fast ein Jahr her. Leider kam es ohne das benötigte WLAN Modul, das muss man extra kaufen. Da in der Produktbeschreibung steht: Connectivity: WLAN, gingen wir natürlich davon aus, dass der Drucker das Standardmäßig unterstützt. Dank Amazon haben wir einen Rabatt bekommen, für den wir dann das WLAN Modul kauften. Danach ging der Ärger los. Im Großen und Ganzen: Der Drucker kann alles, aber alles extrem kompliziert. Um Einstellungen am Drucker über die Weboberfläche vornehmen zu können, muss der Drucker über WLAN oder Lan verbunden sein - eine USB Verbindung geht nicht (Man kann zwar über USB drucken und umständlich über das Windows-Fax und Scan Programm scannen, aber eben nicht direkt von Drucker zu PC, sondern nur über PC zu Drucker und das Programm ist ekelhaft zu bedienen und bietet nur wenig Einstellmöglichkeiten).Am meisten nervt uns jetzt seit Monaten der Scanner. Ich will Bilder und Dokumente von Drucker auf PC übertragen. Dazu habe ich viele Möglichkeiten: FTP, SFTP,SMB u.v.m.. Um die richtigen Einstellungen für FTP und SMB zu finden, muss man schon fast Netzwerktechnik studieren, aber ich habe es irgendwann hinbekommen (Ordner am PC freigeben, dann über Systemeinstellungen FTP aktivieren, die Firewall konfigurieren, den Port freigeben und und und). Dann aber irgendwann ohne dass ich etwas am PC oder Drucker geändert habe, klappte die Verbindung nicht mehr. Ich habe alles neu Installiert, Treiber neu (natürlich die Aktuellen), Drucker zurück gesetzt, Verbindungen neu eingerichtet und die FTP bzw. SMB Verbindung neu konfiguriert, aber er will einfach nichts schicken, obwohl ich über alle anderern FTP Programme problemlos auf den Ordner zugreifen kann. Nach jetzt über 40 Stunden probiererei habe ich endlich den viel gelobten Support angerufen, der jedoch will mir nicht helfen weil ich keinen Wartungsvertrag habe. Daumen hoch. Ich kann jetzt nur noch auf den USB Stick drucken und muss den dann den Stick zum PC bringen - das nervt bei ca. 50 Scans am Tag doch gewaltig. Für das Geld bekomme ich bessere Drucker und auch Support. Nie wieder Xerox.
