Be careful if you are buying this to play mahjong.
I bought this table thinking that I could use it for both cards and mahjong. It's great for cards but it fall short for mahjong because you would have to get a custom mat and the groves for the tiles don't work for regular sized tiles. Make sure you check the measurements of the center if you are buying this for mahjong.

I was expecting that there is a padding right the centre so mahjong tiles will not be too noisy. A bit disappointed that there was none.
