Chef Aid Clear Refillable Gas Lighter

Looking for a lighter for candles - this one produces a proper flame that reaches any wick, even the last bits of my favourite candle that comes inside a glass container.Most gas lighter are designed in a kitchen-cooking design but I only use it for candles and wanted a design that was not "kitchen-themed". The price is also very good and I like it is refillable. After 2 months of purchase works great and am very happy with it.

This item worked for a month and a half then the trigger broke. I took it apart to see if it could be fixed, it has a bad design, using the thinest of plastic materials. I was just out of the warranty period and the seller refused refund. Please dont waste your money.

I was happy with the lighter until i accidentally broke it. The neck snapped off from the body. In its defence, it continued to light even with a broken neck but I thought it might not be safe so I binned it.

Cheap, does the job, and allows this student to actually cook and not always rely on takeaway! :p

This lighter ignites reliably, hence two stars. What lets it down is its robustness. Mine failed after 4 months when the press button pivot failed.

My one came with a tiny flame. On minimum it was about half a centimetre, on maximum it barely reached a centimetre. I had to take it apart to alter the adjustment, which now has a flame ranging from 2 to 3 centimetres. Great if you’re technically minded but not recommended for an amateur. Otherwise lights first time and has a reasonable reach.

Product isnt up to the job, broke far too soon. Customer service is poor and they try and fob you off. DO NOT BUY.
