Lovely tone and easy to play. Warms up well and the combination of the plastic mouthpiece (which doesn't feel cheap) and the wooden body is the best of both worlds. The recorder is quite narrow compared to other wooden recorders which gives it more of 'medievel' feel. It feels lovely to the touch and I am very pleased with it.
