Review: Long press the on/off button to turn on - I thought they did not work because even though I charged them in the sun, they would not come on. I pushed the on off button over and over and over again and got extremely frustrated with them. I learned that it requires a long press. If you press it and hold it for about three seconds the light will come on. I didn’t figure this out until after I had taken them apart, that’s why you see the lights lit up in my chair on the patio. I will need to reassemble them to use them outside. The construction and finish of the pole is good. The light itself is pretty lightweight plastic. It looks good now but only time will tell how long it holds up. It has a good size solar surface and being solar powered is great… no wires or batteries.😁
