This has made y life so much easier and I found it so easy to use for the money it was great value

Be careful when using it to take out soft lenses! It damaged my eye and took about 8 days for the pain to fade away. I bought it to take out my soft lenses (I already have the Meruru to put them in) but 'pinching them out' damaged my eye. The Optiwand has some very sharp uneven edges so one of these edges must have cut my eye. It also looks very 3D printed and feels very flimsy unlike the product picture... Definitely not using it again.

Fantastic wand puts in and takes out contact lenses easy.

Your better off learning to use your index finger

Sounded like the answer to my prayers so I paid the extortionate amount for the tiny piece of flimsy plastic, waited 10 days for it to arrive only to realise I’d totally wasted my money as it doesn’t grip the lens it just slides over the top… very frustrating and believe me I’ve tried for many hours. Dont waste your money use your fingers it’s so much cheaper !!!

Don't understand how this could be a help to wear contact lenses

Wow saw a lot of negative reviews but with first time wearing contacts at 66 years old and tried with fingers for 3 days and couldn’t get on or out for days without terrible struggles . Was gonna give up ans use glasses until I tried this tool . It’s not magic in that it doesn't do it by itself but need to read directions! Putting it got right eye first time in ! Left eye took 2 tries Same for coming out . You need to put it in eye and touch it kinda firmly but slide fingers down and squeeze close to edge so it “pinches “ lens slightly and came right out first time on right ! On left took 2 tries but came out also ! Just have to practice a bit but does work !! It does not suck it off eyeball , need to squeeze close to end so it “pinches “slightly together . Hey if I can do it you all can do it ! Dont give up ! Read the directions and don’t guess at this !! I was so suprised and thrilled it worked like that . Will see how it goes in the morning !!
