It is a gate that I use to enter my backyard with my riding lawnmower. I had gotten a very small dog and with a little digging could have slipped under the gate and out of the fenced in yard. I have very pleased and it has provided me with what I wanted. I put the paver down, put dirt over it, and added grass. It will keep my dog from digging and slipping out. Plus the riding lawnmower goes over it without any problems. I bought a second one for an area that was washing away during very heavy rains. Please advise.** A: Buy them wherever you can but Amazon factors in shipping for each item. That $3 sq. ft. may be a local or shipping-exclusive price. **Q: Can I place these in grass without digging, to park a small light boat trailer on for the winter, without the grass getting killed under the tires?** A: You probably could but most of the grass would probably die. You'd be better served to dig out the area a bit, put these in place, and then backfill it with soil & grass seed. The new seed will grow in the gaps and the paver will stay in place by the surrounding soils. **Q: How many would I need to do 800 sq ft ?** A: Each panel is 24"x24" so 4 sq. ft. per panel.
