Perfect for my insta360 X4, very versatile!

I bought the X4 for action shots, and after reading horror stories about scratched lenses, these guards were a non-negotiable purchase for me. The Install: They are much easier to install than the older sticky-lens versions. The twist-lock mechanism feels secure, and I haven't had any issues with them vibrating loose during rides. Optical Quality: This is where you need to be careful. In 90% of situations, they are invisible. However, if you are shooting directly into the sun, you will get some internal reflection (lens flare) that isn't there with the naked lens. It’s a trade-off I’m willing to accept to save my lens, but professional shooters should keep this in mind. Durability: I’ve already taken a small pebble hit that would have destroyed my actual lens; the guard took a scuff, but the camera is fine. ​Pros: ​Twist-lock is secure and reusable (unlike the sticky ones). ​Does not affect stitching lines in 360 mode. ​Cheaper to replace than a camera repair. ​Cons: ​Noticeable glare/flaring in direct sunlight. ​Slightly bulky profile compared to standard guards. ​Verdict: If you are doing action sports, these are mandatory. If you are vlogging indoors, you might prefer the naked lens for slightly better clarity.

With such an amazing camera it was a no brainer decision ordering these to protect the camera lenses. Very high quality and highly recommended.

Hands down one of the worse ever camera accessories ever. Adds so many terrible reflections to your footage I can't see how these ever made it to production. In the daylight you get reflections of the camera body and lens guard mounts and in the dark you get awful reflections from any point of light. Avoid.

These are a step up from the plastic ones. I suggest giving these and realy good clean and dry to minimise reflections.

This is one of those purchases, which I dont like having to make, but you dont have a choice really. You spend a lot of money on a decent camera, but you cant trust the lenses not to get damaged, so you have to spend another 10% on a lens guard, to ensure they dont get scratched. They do their job, they seem pretty decent in quality, but they should come as standard. The main gripe, using these, is that they stand so far off the lens, that if there is any sun on the lens, you can see the reflection of the camera. in the guard. It is also quite prone to picking up slight blemishes, which also impair the quality of the image.

One of the Lens guards fell on the first ride; this is the second pair. I don’t recommend any lens guard by Insta 360. I have tried both, and it doesn’t work for motorcycles because of lock mechanism flaws, which cannot tolerate motorcycle vibration. Edit: Support contacted and investigated the issue and is in the process of fixing it; I will give five stars to support and will update here if the new lens guard, with their instructions, will last bumpy motorcycle rides.

当方結構なハードコンディションでInsta360を使用していまして、樹脂製レンズガードしか無かったX2では1セット3000円もするアレをまとめ買いして1、2ヶ月で要交換になるという地獄のような状況でした。 こちら購入から1ヶ月。X2とのサイズ感の違い(レンズガード自体もかなり大型化している)から結構な回数壁や柱、樹木に本体をぶつけましたが、未だよく目を凝らさないと分からないレベルの小傷が1、2個付いた程度で、樹脂製レンズガードと比べてもはっきりとした耐久性の違いを感じます。 映像面では光を受けた際の乱反射は当然あり、心なしか樹脂製よりも土埃などの影響が強いようにも感じられますが、それでも最早手放せない品になっています。
