I had to hold her up for the first summer as this float suit does NOT keep them upright on its own, they will fall over until they learn to stay upright. During the summer it was used probably about 5x a week, and it held up great. However, at the end it was pretty stretched out and didn’t form to her body like the material previously had, it was really loose and thin. My 2nd child is 18mo, 26lbs and it fits her great!
