100% Best Satnav for a bike!
A must for any bike, great quality.

sat nav
works great, all i have to do now is have it wired in as i'm charging it up at home at the moment. i bought a helmet headset to go with it rather than ear buds. nothing whatsoever to complain about.

Not as pleased as I should have been.
I bought this rather than Garmin because I was familiar with Tom Tom commands etc. Sadly they have changed a little so need to get familiar with them before I try to do anything on the move. The biggest disappointment is that I can only connect to my Bike Autocom via Bluetooth unlike Garmin that can hardwired. This means no phone connectivity for me. Thinking about ditching it after 2 months.

won't go anywhere without it.
Excellent piece of kit. took a while to learn how to operate it but once mastered I'm very impressed with it.

Wish I'd never bought it!
When running the device in landscape, the screen randomly switches the view to portrait, it also randomly switches itself off! It also receives a message to say there is an update and asks if you want to update - yes or no! Very difficult and dangerous to try and hit the screen when on the move, but if you don't respond, it just switches off! Sports Touring, who supplied the device, tried to help by sending it back to Tomtom but when it came back from them, it still did the same, running in either landscape or portrait! Having done my research before purchasing, I thought that this was one of the best motorcycle sat. navs available. It has turned out to be the worst thing I could have bought for the bike and wish I had never paid good money for a device that is not fit for purpose!

Seriously not impressed with the technology. Must try harder. No manufacturer support available
You would expect a modern satnav to work easily, but TomTom have made this so complicated to set up that I've given up. The website doesn't answer my questions, I couldn't find any way of actually contacting them, but eventually fount a YouTube (!) video that explained what I needed to do to connect so that I could hear the directions through my Bluetooth-enabled helmet. The helmet works with my phone and Google maps, but the TomTom won't connect as it thinks that it needs a PIN. It's a shame that TomTom have gone backwards from the original Rider, as that was very good. I'll be returning this and looking at the competition. The seller told me that it would be really difficult for him to return the item, and promised to phone me to help me to get it connected. They didn't. Tomtom support is non-existant. The seller didn't want to have to have the package returned as "it is very difficult to take a tom tom back after the sealed packaging has been broken". My heart bleeds for him. It turns out that there are Youtube videos on how to get the unit to connect, and I now have an approximate connection to a unit that is almost as good as my older, faulty TomTom rider. Why does no-one provide support when the customer has problems? For the price paid, one would expect that the support would at least turn up a human who could talk you through it. I really wish that I'd had my old unit repaired - that wold have been so much easier and cheaper.

Gehen würde es also :-)
