Very nice quality,works well right length and has held up well with use

I highly recommend this. If you tow tubes and the like this is what you need. It keeps the towed item tension centered and appears to be well made. It keeps the boat from having that pull left or right making it a distraction while towing from transom eyes. I have a ski eye but those are never made to take the pull from a tube which is FAR greater the a skier or wake-board. The pulley itself is made of light weight metal material with a plastic wheel but I don't have any issues with it (so far). You do have to watch the initial pull until it has tension otherwise it could get tangled on itself. It does try to float. The only draw-backs to it are what it is intended to reduce and that is the pull from 1 side or the other. It takes some sharp turns back and forth if you want to kick someone out of the wake while towing them. It works a little too well but just takes some practice and a brave soul on the tube lol

I purchased this rope from Amazon in May, early in the season so I was not able to use it much due to off and on weather conditions for skiing. Toward the end of June, only our third time using the rope, the handle collapsed while pulling a skier out of the water. Unfortunately, the amount of time to return the item on Amazon Prime had expired by now. so I am out of luck for a refund or exchange. I am giving this a rating of 2 because the quality of the rope and ease of changing rope lengths was good, just a handle that was either faulty or the design and materials are weak. I hope this is a fluke flaw for the sake of the company. I AM UPDATING MY REVIEW AFTER DEALING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVEN THOUGH MY RETURN TIME HAD EXPIRED WITH AMAZON, DUE TO MY SITUATION, AIRHEAD REPLACED MY PRODUCT AT NO CHARGE. SINCE I UNDERSTAND THAT EVERY PRODUCT CAN HAVE A BAD OCCASIONAL BATCH, HAVING GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE CHANGES EVERYTHING. I AM UPGRADING MY REVIEW TO 4 STARS SINCE I REALLY LIKE THE PRODUCT WHEN IT FUNCTIONSBAND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS WHAT SHOULD BE EXPECTED.

Good system, hooks up nicely to my boat in the driveway, have not had it on the water yet. Should work great for the big towable.

I have not had the chance to use this yet but I have put it on the back of my 18' pontoon w/60hp motor and played with it out of the water, swinging it from side to side and pretending. that's all I can do till it gets warmer up here. I'm in Michigan so we have to wait a bit for hot weather. This item I have NO doubt will work great this summer and the self centering pulley will make it much easier to sling shot those people "brave enough to get on" off the tube and into the air. Plus the self centering pulley puts equal pressure on both of the pontoon brackets and makes it so that the motor isn't stressing pulling off to one side, and the foam float at the connection keeps the rope away from the motor. You DO NOT want that rope in the propeller, it will pull up so fast and could seriously injure your rider as well as mess up your lower unit gears.

The rope itself is great but the handle quite small and doesn’t float on the water very well so you can’t find it easily when in the water.
