My husband absolutely loved this gift! The oils are non scented which works out perfectly for his beard wax that does smell. He says the quality of the beard wash and oils are amazing! You can definitely tell a difference in how soft his facial hair is now after using it for some time! The comb and brush are made of wood and really strong! He also says the scissors are great and sharp for trimming the scragglies away! Great purchase!

My husband has a big, glorious beard. He was spending so much time using store bought oils, combs and brushes to maintain it's gloriousness. I was thinking of a last minute holiday gift idea for him and saw this on my search engine. I was skeptical to try it at first because most oils and shampoos come with some sort of scent, but this one does not. My husband really likes the fact that it is unscented, as do I. The beard shampoo helped a lot by keeping his skin and beard clean as well as not getting dry. He uses just a few drops of oil and that's all you need to get your beard looking really shiny. He went from using hair products and store bought products that contain too much alcohol and chemicals to using this and we have both noticed a difference in not only the appearance of his beard, but the overall health. Highly recommend. It was really cute that they included the beard bulbs, to decorate your beard for the holidays. It was a huge hit for him at work.

A great product for making your beard look and feel fresh. I've used many beard products over the years, and generally speaking they all offer relatively the same benefits. Any beard product is usually better than no beard product (as long as the product in question doesn't contain harsh ingredients). This product is no different--oil to soften the hairs and massage the skin (to help the growth), balm to shape and form the beard, a brush to help spread the balm through and shape the beard, a comb and scissor to help clean up. I give it 5 stars because it is exactly as advertised--it won't put a beard on your baby face, and it won't make your beard dance and sing, but the best part of a beard is how natural it is, right? How effortless and how it makes things better without too much effort. And this kit does that. What makes it better than other kits on the market? Well, to be honest it is probably generally equal to most... although I must say that I love the feel of the beard brush--of all the products contained I believe the brush is the part that really improves over the competition I've used. But it's not a scientific opinion, just an experiential one. Try it yourself. It's also difficult to find a quality kit at such a low price. This product contains all you need (including high quality scissors, comb, and brush) for an excellent price. It includes more for less. I expect that in the future I will purchase the full kit again even though I'm sure the scissors, comb, and brush will still be in excellent condition because of the value offered.

Perfect birthday gift everything all in one kit

This kit is nice but the scissors are pretty disappointing, it has a lot of things in it but it just hasn't really helped me with the growth of my beard like I was expecting it to. Or maybe I just have too many grays

This is the one you want. It's got everything the first time beard aficionado could ask for: beard wash, oil & balm, a very nice comb and brush, a pair of scissors, a shaping template, and a drawstring storage bag to keep it all in. Each of the hair products comes nicely packaged in its own matching box, and all of them are snugly packed into a matching sliding-drawer gift box that's worthy of an unboxing video. Weirdly though, this otherwise elegantly packaged gift set *also* includes a bag of 20 or so "beard ornaments" that are just junky Xmas ornaments attached to plastic clips with a twist-tie. Would anyone actually attach these things to their face? The package also included 2 keychains, one that says "Merry" and another that says "Christmas." Why these items are included in a Beard Kit is beyond me, but a note from the Seller mentioned them specifically, so apparently it's a thing. This whole kit is shrink-wrapped, and there's a sticker on the wrap that gives you access to GoldWorld's "Ultimate Beard Guide E-Book" which is just a 7 page online pamphlet, half of which is spent trying to convince the reader of all the great reasons to grow a beard. Meh. TL:DR Version: I bought this for myself, and I'm totally happy with it. Five Stars. If I was looking for a gift for someone, I would absolutely buy this again. But before I wrapped it up to give it to them, I'd remove the shrink-wrap and lose the "Beard Guide" nonsense. Then I'd slide open the smooth little drawer and pull out the beard ornaments and key chains, and the note from the seller referencing them. Everything else in this set matches each other, makes total sense, and is of good quality. The inclusion of this weird, random junk subtracts from the overall quality of the set.
