Was in enamored by how dynamic the art is but also how simple and charming it can be. The premise about a loner trying to leave the world behind also struck a chord with me. The climbing scenarios are intense, and it woke something up in me even though I never climbed a day in my life. The supporting characters serve as excellent foundation to hold the story up and keep the MC from being to alienating. The book itself is not as sturdy as I thought it would be, but it is well-crafted and beautiful to add to shelf.
