Logitech Combo Touch iPad Air 11 inch Keyboard Case - Midnight Black

Light-weight, comfortable to use, feels more protective than Apple’s keyboard. Keyboard is easily removable for using tablet in a traditional manner.

I had been wanting to get a keyboard for my new iPad Air for white some time, however the price of the Apple Magic Keyboard deterred me. After reading the other reviews I decided to go with this Logitech version and I couldn’t be happier! So far there is not one thing that I don't love about this cover. The ease of using it as soon as I got it. Took it out of the box, put the cover on my iPad and then connected to the keyboard itself, which it does magnetically and is a VERY SOLID connection. Keyboard lit up and ready to go. It runs off your iPad thru the connection and doesn’t require any separate battery charge or cable. The response of the keyboard is phenomenal. The track pad is large and just as responsive. I sometimes forget that this is my iPad and not a laptop, it is that similar in use. Another feature I absolutely love is that if I just want to use the iPad for drawing, i can detach the keyboard and set it aside. The case is very strong and so well made, it is worth every penny i paid for it. The value is well worth it. I feel like i could drop this case from 10 feet up and nothing would happen, not that I EVER intend to do that, lol, but that is how sturdy this case feels. Even with the keyboard it is not bulky. I really cannot say enough good things about this case. If you are considering a keyboard case for your iPad, THIS IS THE ONE!!!

Now this just pmo... I got this in september 2025 for school and by now, april 2026, this thing is just falling apart. I loved the case at first and made me happy with my choice to just get a keyboard for my ipad instead of a whole laptop but now the keyboard only works half the time, two keys have just popped off, the sound button fell off, and the rubber around the ipad has just completely separated. Maybe if this thing wasn't $200 I wouldn't be upset but oh look.. it is 🫩. If you want to buy a brand new $200 case every couple of months be my guest but otherwise choose smth else. It's sad cuz I loved how compatible it was with the ipad but now I just feel regret (I already put all my favorite stickers on it💔). Does anyone know if I'm able to get a refund /s....

Great product. Makes an ipad much more usable.

I returned mine after about 30 minutes. It takes up too much space on my lapboard. When standing, from the kickstand to the outside edge of the keyboard, the case needs 11.5 inches. My lapboard is just under 10 inches deep. That overhang made it difficult to use on my lap since I have to be careful about how I moved or the keyboard would be unstable. Otherwise, it's a great build, nice to use, top-notch case. I simply did not like how it fit on my lap.

Very nice keyboard the case is ok

Tried other brands, their track pads were glitchy, keyboard required separate pairing and charging, honestly just a pain. Should've gone with the name brand. This one just works. Draws power directly from the iPad. No pairing, trackpad works great. It does cost a little more, but it's totally worth it.

ANOTHER UPDATE: I hope it’s not annoying to read this review in reverse chronology. So now after purchasing this in February 2025 (it’s now August 2025), the trackpad is getting really wonky, where even if my hand gets close to it, it crazily deletes text and jumps the cursor all over the place. Also, now the backlighting is totally uneven. There’s bright light around the front and center of the keyboard, and the rest is dim. Maybe the quality of these is just not up to what I thought were high Combo Touch standards. I haven’t even used the keyboard much. Maybe once every two or three weeks. OK, on to my previous update before things got worse… UPDATE: The more I type on this, the more I struggle with accidental touches of the trackpad, making the cursor go all over the place and accidentally insert and delete text and such. I don’t ever have this problem on my MacBook, and I haven’t had the problem on previous Combo Touches. Otherwise, my excellent review below is still overall accurate. Maybe others’ typing technique will prevent the problem. Original 5-star review: I’ve had previous versions of these for two different iPad models in years past, so I was confident this would be just as good, but I was a little concerned that the Amazon reviews weren’t as good overall. Well, I’ve been using it for a couple months and can confidently say it’s as good as always. I’m not going to write a long “from scratch” review, but instead I will take it as axiomatic that Combo Touches are awesome. They’re way more affordable than Apple keyboards but are as good if not better than them. So, improvements from previous models I’ve used: - bigger trackpad, works great, basically as good as Mac - the case when detached from keyboard is a little less bulky and heavy-feeling. I used to take off the case from time to time with previous models, but this one I’m happy to leave on - nice dark color. Sleek and classy looking One small complaint: I miss the pencil holder. But that was an easy cheap fix by buying a separate pencil holder that I stuck on the back of the case. Great device for a reasonable price.

This product is incredible!!! It seamlessly connects to your iPad and turns it into a powerful laptop. Very impressed with the quality and the keyboard. The backlight on the keyboard is great and the feel of the keys is Logitech perfect. Also the trackpad works great, mouse pointer works really well, feels just like a laptop. The kickstand is strong. The keyboard disconnects when you remove it. The case itself is a little heavy but it’s robust and will keep your iPad safe from damage. It’s really quite an impressive product. Very happy with this purchase.

I’m very happy with this keyboard case. It cost more than I planned to spend, but the quality is worth it. The keyboard works well, and the case feels solid and protective. I especially appreciate the detachable keyboard because I use my iPad on the treadmill. With the case on, I feel confident that my iPad is well protected while I run. Great buy overall.

Very happy with the purchase. Like : Fits iPad Air 11 inch snugly and protects the edges as expected. Keys and track pad are awesome..!! I am a repeat Logitech customer having brought earlier combo case for my iPad Air 3rd generation and it served me well. Good to have : Having a strap to keep Apple pencil in place would have helped.

Nice keyboard for iPad Air. It is a bit on the heavy side and the keyboard can not fold back on the iPad. Otherwise it’s a good combo. Keyboard detaches which is nice but it would have been better if you can completely fold it back on itself. Good feel for the keyboard. Nice lighting effect on keys. Seems to be robust protection too.
