Review: I ordered this Bible because I wanted a compact hard copy Bible for some online courses I’m doing that use the NASB text. It did arrive with some slight page edge damage in the book of Romans but it wasn’t significant so not a concern for me. I did notice there’s also a fair bit of page sticking at the top and bottom right corners but that will get worked out with use. The Bible also comes in at 1/8” narrower and shorter than advertised. I’ve included some side by side comparison pics of the Thomas Nelson NKJV Compact which is a true 4 1/2” inch wide by 6 7/8” high and features an 8.5pt font. The fit and finish of this Bible is very nice overall and I like the feel of the Leathertouch material Holman uses on their Bibles. It feels soft and warm to the touch but is also scratch resistant. The compact size is easy to hold and it lays flat relatively well even without being broken in yet. Overall it’s a very nice compact Bible and I look forward to using it during my courses. Review: The Bible is very compact and perfect for travel. The text size is adequate and very readable for a compact Bible. The gilding is good and the pages were not stuck together at all! It was easy to flip through pages right out of the box. 👍The binding is not too tight and easy to open up without breaking the spine. The paper is also good quality. There is the slightest ghosting of words from the other side of the page, but not enough to affect reading. I would highly recommend as a travel or commuter Bible. I plan to take on the bus with me to read while on the way to work. For the price, I am impressed and satisfied with the quality of the Bible!
