She can grip it easily (much easier than trying to push a button with a shaking hand) and it turns easily, unlike the old fashion kitchen timer dial. She can see the set time clearly. The numbers could be a little larger, but not really a problem. The four beep alarm works well for her because she doesn't have to struggle to turn it off. There is no ticking sound, which is nice.
