I had the old unit off and this replacement fitted and working in around half an hour. It works fine and has good range. I never really paid attention to the picture of the unit or I would have noticed there are no buttons to operate the door without using the remote controls. I generally enter the garage via a side door and the old unit had buttons to operate the shutter which was convenient. I can see this becoming an irritation in the coming months when I go to my garage forgetting the remote. Can I buy sensors?** A: This will only work with motors that have limit switches. I would advise sourcing the correct type of controller for the motor you have. **Q: Hi would this be suitable for a double garage with roller shutter , ie. one large roller door?
