Can I use my SCUF Nomad without the Companion App?

Yes, you can use the SCUF Nomad without the Companion App. However, some features (such as the paddles) will not work.

Is SCUF Nomad compatible with Android and iPad and my iPhone case?

At this moment, Nomad is only compatible with iOS. The Companion app is not optimized for iPads (No full-screen support). Nomad is compatible with most cases but if an accessory attached (wallet, loop, etc.), the controller may not attach properly.

What are the battery specifications for SCUF Nomad?

The SCUF Nomad has a 600mAh battery and supports 5V charging. It is recommended to charge the Nomad via a PC and not a wall brick.

Is the SCUF NOMAD Compatible with larger cellphone models like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro Max?

Yes it is compatible, however you must remove the cases to prevent the phone from getting stuck in the Nomad Controller. Adapter is included in the box.

Does this product have refresh/polling rates comparable to a wired controller?

No. As a result of the bluetooth connection between the Nomad and your phone, the polling/refresh rate is lower than one would expect from a wired setup.
