In addition to the size which make the reading much easier, this Simrad GPS is fairly user friendly and it is very bright and easy to read, even with a lot of sunshine. It is versatile and offers many connection options. You may even mirror the screen on your mobile phone. Nevertheless, I was disappointed by two things: one, the protection cover is difficult to remove, and it is a bit of a struggle each time. Two, the length of the transducer cable was not sufficient to connect the transducer to the GPS. I had to buy an extension cable which was not easy to find and was very costly.
