Worked very well
Never bought this type of thing before used it on one of the padlocks at work and it worked excellent

the lock worked like it was brand new
I had bought this lock oil for a bike carrier lock at the recommendation of many users on Amazon. A couple of weeks later after being hit with storm after storm, I went to open my shed and I couldn't even get the key to go in the lock - no exaggeration. The last storm had such high winds we must have gotten an excessive amount of rain in the lock. After a couple of minutes of trying to get that key in, I remembered I had just purchased this oil. Luckily since I had just purchased it I knew exactly where it was (you all know what I mean by that). I injected a little bit into the lock and worked it in with the key. Within 15 seconds, not only was the key going in smoother than ever before, the lock worked like it was brand new. I didn't buy the product for this purpose, but it definitely fit the task - now I just have to remember to do that once a year. Very good product - was glad I had it on hand.

Not super convenient, but it works!
We came home one day and could not get our front door unlocked. Neither of our two keys could get the lock to turn enough to unlatch. We panicked, because we did not have a plan B get into the house. We finally got it open, but feared ever going out again! At first we feared that the lock had simply worn out, and we began shopping for a replacement. But some sources suggested it might just need lubrication. Hmm, what kind? It’s a royal pain shopping for lock lubricants. Years ago I used WD-40 on some padlocks outdoors, and it needed to be reapplied often because the locks would rust up again. And I would not use WD-40 in the living space, anyway. Instead it came down to PTFE (Teflon), silicon or graphite. I’d used graphite before on entry locks, and I found it to be messy while not really helping enough. I’d also used silicon on other things in the past, and ruled that out. After settling on PTFE, I decided against an aerosol because I wanted to avoid issues with overspray, etc. Well, you can only apply this as droplets, and for a front door, you do not have the help of gravity. So you need to apply some to the keyhole, and shove that in with the key; and/or put some on the key itself. Either way, you need the key to spread it around to the mechanism inside. I did this repeatedly, with lots of fluid, because it seems so inefficient. It’s tricky to do, and at first I regretted choosing this over a spray. But the lock did loosen up, and although the key was a covered with fluid at first, the lock has not given us problems since then. Not sure I’d choose this form again, over a spray. But it worked, and it is easier to store than a spray can (and no worry about propellants, etc.) So I am satisfied and would recommend it to others who have similar needs.

Specially Made for Locks, Here to Buy Tube #2 After Four Years
Well. I bought my little tube in 2015 (yes, almost 4 years ago), and I've been using this occasionally over the years, more as a preventative measure than anything else. Yesterday's events have encouraged me, however, to write a positive review for it. A Master lock on my property has been locked outside in the South Florida elements for at least several years, and during that time, not only did it go through Hurricane Irma, but it never got used (i.e. unlocked). Yesterday I needed to finally unlock it, and just as I feared, it was rusted shut. Although the key went in, it wouldn't turn a bit. I didn't want to wait, and I really didn't want to shell out $$$ and buy a bolt cutter, so I did some research, and went back there again with this little tube and a hammer. Greased up the holes, waited, banged the lock, jiggled key in lock. Repeated several times, and voila! it worked. The lock still isn't working buttery smooth, but who cares, I got it off. Don't know what's in this lubricant exactly, but it sure loosened up the rusty insides of my Master Lock, giving me access and saving me $. The lubricant i have is actually so old now that it's not even that runny, and the label is cracking too, but it still worked like a charm, and really proved itself too. :-D So,I'm here to buy another tube after yesterday's events, and although $5 for this little thing sounds expensive, for me that has worked out to be $1.25 a year on 3-4 padlocks, for saving me a lot of backyard sweating and cussing (which I do enough anyway), and emergency trips to the local home improvement store, so it's worth it! Also, I don't know if regular corn oil would have worked just as well, but this lubricant specially made for locks claims it has "PTFE" so I dont want to use regular cooking oil or WD-40 and ruin perfectly good locks or make a bad situation worse. That's a picture of my old lubricant, the lock which came off with its help, and the q-tips I'm using to clean out its insides, showing all the rust. Recommend.

Correct lock lube to use
This is the correct lock lube, and it's easy to store. I'm always spilling little oil cans!!!

Useful! Easy. Tiny, but how much do you need?
It is a tiny squeeze container shaped like a pen. One lock may use 10% of the lubricant. If you use it once or twice a year on a couple of locks/doors, then it may last you 3-5 years. It is for light use. That said - application is so easy. Could not be better. The applicator tip fits easily in the lock. Squeezing out a couple of drops is a piece of cake. The stiff/frozen/problematic lock now works like new. Perfect for front door locks in cold/dry climates. It even packs up well, a black plastic tip and a clear top case. No spilling. Safe to store. Great to have one around home or office. Prefect for tool box (next to plumbers tape) or kitchen junk drawer (by a multiuse screw driver). Note: We were not compensated in any way for this unbiased review. No one should be.

This stuff works great!
The lock on our security screen door was so bad, we had to wrestle with it every time we unlocked it. Used Masterlock Lubricant, and Presto! It's like a brand new lock. And, the seatbelts in our car were jamming up horribly. Had to fight and fight to get them unhooked. Put some of this into the clasp, and immediately, they popped right apart when removing them. Fabulous product, I ordered a second one to keep on hand.

Works like a Charm!!
I've been having trouble inserting my mailbox key into the lock on our communal neighborhood mailbox for a long time. I would have to start and stop, adjust the position of the key several times before finally getting it to work. After using this lubricant the first day and inserting and re-inserting the key a number of times it started working better pretty quickly. On the second day I guess it had time to work in there a little It is now like putting the key into a cloud, because there is absolutely no restriction at all when putting my key in the lock, it just slides right in like it doesn't even touch anything inside. It's nothing less than amazing!! I'd recommend this as a lock lubricant for sure as it's the best I've ever used.

and it works better than new
Bought this because the door lock to my new condo's front door was getting hard to lock and unlock with the key. I got to turn really hard in order to lock it. I applied this thing liberally to all moving parts; and I also unscrewed the lock and applied the lubricant to the inside of the lock directly. When I put the lock back, there is still some rough movement when trying to unlock with my key. But I left the lock alone for a couple of hours, and WOW, everything becomes silky smooth. Now my key just glides in and the opening movement is almost frictionless. I then proceed to apply this to my Cherry MX Red (CoolerMaster Master Pro L RGB) keys that have become sticky. I am very picky and I notice it when the keys have different feedback. So I remove those problematic keys from the keyboard, and applied the lubricant onto the Cherry MX Red switches. Put the key back on, and it works better than new. Highly recommended.

Il cancello della mia attività lo chiudo con lucchetto, d’inverno era un disastro da aprire…una volta utilizzato questo lubrificante ha cominciato a funzionare meglio che da nuovo

Fantastic!
This little thing is a life saver! This winter, I was surprised to find that my little 2015 Mitsubishi mirage’s front door locks were frozen. I tried rubbing alcohol and applying heat, and both failed miserably. However, this thing did the trick right away! I haven’t had any issues with my key holes since, in fact, the key turn may be smoother now than it was before.
