## Description

Saral Transfer Paper is wax free transfer paper (also known as graphite paper or tracing paper) made for general and specialized use, which allows you to transfer your design from a sketch, pattern, template or free hand to any surface. Saral makes clean, crisp tracings that can be erased and painted over. It's great for: tole painting, fabric painting, fine arts, watercolor painting, quilting, dress making, commercial and graphic arts. Saral Transfer Paper is wax free so it gives the advantage of erasing like pencil with no smear or smudge. It can be inked or painted over with no skipping or bleeding. The transfer lines can be sponged, washed out or brushed off of fabric, and a hot iron will not set them as will other tracing or transfer papers made for fabrics. Saral is economical and can be used again and again.

Review: This carbon paper works well. - This carbon paper worked great on my 16” X 20” gesso board. The carbon paper can be messy on your hands but I had no issues on my board. The traced lines are bit light but you can see the lines and no need to erase any smudges on the board. As you can see the photo I had a lot of details to draw. It will be a sunset ocean shore pier oil painting. I recommend this product. It really makes it so much easier with the size of this reusable roll carbon paper and cost effective. Even though it comes rolled in a nice box, the paper lays flat and no creases.

**Q: Does it really erase cleanly?**
A: It's not perfect, but it is better than other transfer papers I have used. It really depends upon how heavy-handed you are.

**Q: so does this item mean 2 rolls for this price?**
A: just one roll

**Q: Does this paper leave unnecessary black marks when transferring the image? My carbon paper leaves black marks where my hand was pressed too.**
A: It can leave some marks, though not as bad as some tracing papers I've used.  Since I bought the graphite paper and not black, that is helpful.  Just learned in a water color class that you can literally gently wipe off tracing marks with a little water and a stiff brush...gently rub back and forth.  Try practicing on a scrap sheet.

**Q: Does this product work on glass?**
A: I don't think it will work on glass or any shiny hard surface. It is designed for matt surface that can hold graphite powder such as canvas,  drawing board and paper.  You might look for the one which is a little waxy.

This carbon paper worked great on my 16” X 20” gesso board. The carbon paper can be messy on your hands but I had no issues on my board. The traced lines are bit light but you can see the lines and no need to erase any smudges on the board. As you can see the photo I had a lot of details to draw. It will be a sunset ocean shore pier oil painting. I recommend this product. It really makes it so much easier with the size of this reusable roll carbon paper and cost effective. Even though it comes rolled in a nice box, the paper lays flat and no creases.
