Review: Best bag for almost 2 years - It's been two years im using this bag accidentally I noticed the usage period and thought of reviewing it. It's best bag till now each and every day I have carried to 9fgice stuffed it with all different kinds of things. Carried heavy material and which is really good quality and awesome at this price . Water resistant ki d off okay but advised to keep a rain cover for bag . Material quality is really good as I'm still carrying same bag for day to day activities. Only a small strap was detached from the bag which we can get it stiched but I'm lazy to get it done . So counting few more years on this bag

**Q: Is it waterproof?**
A: Everything in my backpack stays mostly dry, but there was a bit of water in between the cover of my notebook and my papers were a bit wavy. I would treat it with a waterproof spray to be sure. It'd probably be fine in a drizzle, but if it's pouring hard I would not depend on it to keep things perfectly dry.

**Q: is the bottom of the backpack made up of some hard plastic or though material to withstand floor/ground contact and resist friction / erosion?**
A: The back and bottom are fabric. The back plane of the backpack has a semi-rigid piece inside surrounded by soft padding and a soft breathable nylon fabric exterior along its entire length. The bottom piece is a heavy nylon fabric with some padding. There is nothing like rubber feet or plastic runners to keep ground contact to a minimum. If the bag is dragged or slid across a rough surface it will begin to show. I found this bag to be better quality than most of the bags in the school supply isle at my local department store and as good or better quality than many at the local sporting goods/ camping supply store. The quality far exceeds the price.

**Q: Will this hold a 17.3" laptop?**
A: YES and NO... I have a Dell M6600 (17.3" screen - laptop closed dimensions 16.4"x10.7"x1.3") and it barely fits to the point where I would almost say no it doesn't fit.  You have to stretch the corners of the backpack up over the laptop and than the zippers almost don't close.

**Q: Will this backpack when full, fit under an airline seat?**
A: I suppose it could depend on the airplane, but mine was full on a trip to Florida and back, and it fit under the seat in front of me without any problem.
