Strong, not fragile, not break easily. Addition: After use in a couple of days: among in three of a family one noticed, the plate is not good for Indian serving like dal raita dry sabzi and rice plus roti cause of inner circle little deep just for pasta / noodls /or rice serving. he finds difficult to manage. Here; truly speaking i have not found such a difficulty. only part is its heavier than Corelle and also need more care in cleaning and in the hold as per Corelle. Otherwise, to me it's good. there is huge price difference also .. so no comparison. In price its best.

**Q: Do these dishes get the gray cutlery marks on them like Stoneware does?**
A: No they do not. No knife marks at all after months of use.

**Q: Are they safe in the oven?**
A: Quoted from the above description, "The porcelain dinnerware set can be safely used in the freezer, microwave, and oven, though be careful, as the plates will get hot. The dinnerware set can withstand a maximum temperature of 572 degrees and a minimum of 5 degrees (Fahrenheit)".

**Q: We have narrow cabinets, what is the diameter of the dinner plates?**
A: Mine measure at 10 5/8 inches

A: The cups in question would be in regards to the coffee cups

Really wonderful dine set. It’s heavy and durable as well. I love the colour. Simple clean and neat. Gives the rich and premium feel. Package was very good. Delivered within the time itself. Some people complaint about the bowl size I have no idea for what purpose they were using the bowl for. But for me the bowl size is perfect and awesome. It’s all depends on what type of food you eat. Oh man the plates were terrific and the mugs are excellent . Thank you so much Amazon basics. Thanks for bringing this product to India.
