She is still very young and very malnourished. The second day arriving home, she was very lethargic and going downhill fast. Luckily I have gut motility, pain meds, anti gas and critical care on hand to nurse her back to life! Since then I’ve been giving her two large syringe full daily to help boost up her strength and immune system! I was running out and thought this order of critical care won’t arrive on time as the estimated delivery date was June 9th - June 13th. However, luckily it arrived today and it’s only June 7th!! Made it just in time for my last bag of critical care to run out! Thanks so much! I know Ponzu thanks you too as she LOVES this critical care. She is not as active as when she was younger, and over the last few years she has lost about 3/4 of a pound. Along with her daily pain meds, to keep her weight stable she gets unlimited orchard hay, a small amount of alfalfa hay, a small piece of fruit in the morning, a handful of fresh veggies at night, AND a tablespoon of this Critical Care mixed with water and a little bit of baby food in a bowl. She eats every last drop from the bowl, so I don't have to syringe-feed her yet. Over the past 12 years, I have also had a few head-tilt rabbits and one guinea pig who needed to be syringe-fed several times a day for several weeks.
