Perfect book to end the series with 🖤🥀❤️🔥
God of War. The last book in Rina Kents Legacy of Gods series. I feel like I've waited an age for this book and it was everything I wanted. And more. I'm sad now that this series is finished. I tried to savour reading it, but I couldn't not also ingest it faster than Cole threatening Eli 🙄Rina has written a beautifully broken love story. It wouldn't be a Rina Kent book if it was plain sailing! Ava and Eli sought each other out continually, although not always in plain sight, in a cycle of pull and push, until they exhausted themselves, each other, and those around them. They were both vulnerable in different ways. My heart broke alongside Ava as she struggled through her trauma and worked so hard to reclaim her life. The cold hearted and standoffish behaviour from Eli..... he became a character I warmed to, which I didn't think was possible in the beginning. The more their story unfolded, the more I understood each character. It evoked so many emotions in what was a thoroughly addictive and fantastic read.I enjoyed the snippets from the characters in the previous books, and the epilogues. Tied everything up in a lovely pretty bow for me.I can't wait to be a part of Rina's world in what she penns for her readers next 🖤

Nice end for the series!
I really love that RK stepped away from the uni setting for this one as the plot felt so much more fresh! I know an amnesia storyline can be a bit Marmite, but I enjoyed the mystery element of Ava trying to uncover her last two year.Side note: really greatful for the updated family tree with ages so I didn't have to do maths 😅Whilst I loved the plot, I felt a bit frustrated throughout a lot of the book with Eli. Yes, I know he's meant to be an enigma, but even his own PoV didn't shine much light until the very end. Also men who play polo is my ick, so that didn't help 😅I adore Ava though! She's a determined force of nature and was so entertaining! Her and Eli’s back and forth was fab! Also hearing about the wider characters made me so happy although a bit sad that I wouldn't get another book! I loved Niko and Ari fighting at the polo and the return of the dads’ chat, with Levi point blank saying he prefers Niko to Killian 🤣Anyway, it was 4 stars for me. I think the depth of Ava’s psychosis was really well done and I was tearing up a lot. And there was no denying the tension between Ava and Eli was goooddd. But I think I just wasn't invested in Eli enough to enjoy this one more than say Fury or Wrath! My final rankings of the series…GoF🥇; GoWrath🥈; GoP🥉; GoWar; GoM ; GoR.Favourite couple: Cecily x Jeremy / Niko x BranFavourite MMC: JeremyFavourite FMC: Mia / AvaFavourite side characters: Remi, Ari and Levi (just for his hatred of Kill)Funniest: Lan, sorry Remi.Who I most relate to: A mix of Bran and Cecily 💗

“To the end of an era” - and what an end it was✨
I finished this book around 12am last night and I honestly just needed to think what I was going to put down in this review but honestly I am still absolutely speechless 😭I will say this book is the epic conclusion and Rina did it absolutely justice. I know this was Eli and Ava’s story but I adored the little snippets we also seen of other couples from the series🫶🏼How would I describe this book is none other than a rollercoaster of emotions, there was highs, lows, many many tears shed and I swooned every single time Eli dropped a “Mrs King” or “My Wife”.Keeping this review spoiler free as I don’t want to ruin the experience, but Eli and Ava honestly lived up to my expectations they were messy and raw but they were real. Can honestly say these two have been through hell and back but they got their HEA in the end😭 My heart broke for Ava many many times as we finally got an insight as to what lurks in her mind💔It’s very bittersweet to be saying goodbye to this universe that I began my journey on in 2022 but 34 books later and here I am. I know Rina did say there’s a possibility that she will revisit it this universe for Damien’s book, so I will hold out hope. But I am very excited to read the next book Rina is dropping our way.“To the end of an era” - and what an end it was✨Thank you so much to Chaotic Creatives and also Rina Kent who provided this early copy.

Omg I absolutely loved this book! It truly is a case of saving the best till last! I have zero complaints about this book. It was absolutely everything! My poor heart cried for Ava and Eli and everything they went through. It was beautifully heartbreaking. I laughed and cried with this book. The banter between them, the constant back and forth was absolutely wonderful. Eli’s love and protection for Ava was magical and he is deffo up there with the book boyfriends of all time. This is deffo the book we all needed to end this series. Ava’s strength and battles were incredible sad to witness but so beautiful to see her come out the other side. I loved everything about these two and this book delivered like no other in this series. If you do anything then read the book and you will love it. Sterling Job by Rina. This is my first series I’ve read by her and this last book has made me a fan for life

Good but not my favourite
This book was good, and I have read all by this author, and followed each story that flowed seamlessly from the school character pairing. But this one disappointed me so much. Each character’s personality was extremely clear as they flowed to each new chapter. The storyline gave no indication at all, in the previous books, that Ava had such serious mental health issues, literally none. Therefore I was looking forward to a hostile joining that slowly mellowed with the strong characters but this was not what I read. Also, the severe psychosis being so out of control to barely present? Being around someone with the same issues, the quick fix of this disappointed as it wasn’t believable.Like I’ve said, I’ve read all of the books this author writes and thoroughly enjoy them, but for the last in this series it seems like someone popped the ballon.
