Great Product
Great product! I needed a heavy-duty hub, and this works perfectly.

It didn't work
At first I was very disappointed and thought that I had just wasted another few quid. The first time I plugged it in to the USB socket on my PC I got the message that Windows didn't recognise it. Oh dear, what now? After a bit of messing about I discovered that the type C plug was not fully inserted into the unit, after which, everything went as plan. I now have a mic., a bluetooth transmitter, a thumb drive and 3 slots remaining. Personally I have no need for the charger so I don't use it.

Great gadget - almost perfect if not for the touch buttons.
It's a good item, works well, speedy. I use it with snapraid+mergerfs on my home server with no issue. It's a simple plug and play. I'm using a USB3.2 gen 2 Type C port on a HP Elide Mini 800 G9 without any issues. I've only tried 4 drives at once, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with more, as the PSU is quite beefy at 5A. It's a bit pricey but I couldn't find a better deal from other manufacturers. It's slim and compact, the aluminium shell feels nice, but the USB A ports are a bit rough. The cables that it comes with are nice and thick so I don't expect any connectivity issues. I took off one star because of the touch sensitive button design. This just doesn't work well on a USB Hub. The buttons are closely spaced apart so bigger fingers will definitely press on more than one button. It's a single touch to activate and a 2 second hold to turn off. Which is decent enough, but I already had trouble a few times due to dry fingers. There's also no physical sensation when you're on a button, as it's all shiny and flat, so hard to tell which one you're pressing if not looking directly at it (e.g: hub in an narrow space or under the desk. If it would have had physical buttons, this would have been a perfect hub.

need more USB`s then this covers you
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ RSHTECH Powered USB Hub – Does Exactly What You Need If you’re running out of USB ports, this RSHTECH powered hub is an absolute lifesaver. It’s one of those products that just does exactly what it says, without any fuss or surprises. The build quality feels solid, the ports are well‑spaced, and because it’s powered, everything you plug in runs reliably — no random disconnects, no power issues, no drama. Whether it’s peripherals, external drives, or accessories, it handles them all without breaking a sweat. Setup is literally plug‑and‑play, and once it’s in your setup, you forget it’s even there… which is exactly what you want from a good USB hub. If you need more USB ports and want something dependable, this little gem gets the job done perfectly.

A great powered hub suitable for USB-A and USB-C with independent on/off switches for each socket
It is a nice compact powered hub, ideal for supported external usb hard disks as well as ubs sticks. I also liked the provision of two USB-C sockets - handy for connecting easily to devices like phone and tablet without the need for cables converting USB-C to USB-A. The independent power on/off buttons for each socket are a good feature - enabling me to keep devices plugged in, but powered down when I eject them. Pressing power on immediately brings them back on line. The equipment looks well designed. I cannot comment on the durability of this device at this stage (I've only just bought it), though previous similar devices have been very durable..

USB C port lacks grip
Have one working great, purchased another only to find the cable that connects to the pc or Mac just falls out of the hub even when trying another cable, just touch the cable and the hubs disconnected. So hit and miss if you get one to stay in half decent, even the one it does stay in is not that sturdy, big blob of blue tack around the connector fixes it but that's not what you want on the desk

Failed after just 5 months
Initially, this was a pretty good product and managed all of my peripherals without any issues and then this morning, after only 5 months use, the hub has failed. Now if it had been a cheap item, then you might accept that things like that could happen but this is a premium device at a premium price, so you don't expect failures like that. The device is fixed in one place so there has been no movememt that could cause any of the connections to be damaged and it's also on a surge protected circuit. In fact, the power supply seems to be working fine and shows the correct output when on a voltmeter with no changes or fluctuations. The hub is simply dead! None of the lights come on and there is no current coming out any of the USB ports (also tested with a meter). No support via Amazon so, I will be reaching out to RSHTECH directly via their website and hopefuly, I will get something sorted.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do — no drama, no fuss
I’m using this right now while I write this, and it just quietly gets on with the job. Plug it in, switch the ports on or off, and that’s it — no drama, no fuss, no need to mess about. It does exactly what it’s meant to do. Seven ports, proper fast transfer speeds, powered so it handles external drives without breaking a sweat. And those individual on/off switches? Surprisingly handy when you’ve got half your desk wired up to test gear and gadgets. Is it flashy? No. Does it need to be? Absolutely not. — it just works. If you’re building out a workstation, tinkering with Raspberry Pis, external SSDs, or just need reliable powered ports, this is a great bit of kit. Solid, simple, and no complaints.
