The battery charge was barely dented; I'd guess it was at 90-95% when I put the battery back on the charger. The downside, which is almost worth removing a star but not quite, is that the combination of the power head, battery (a relatively small 5ah), and hedge trimmer are heavy. Actually, that's not quite true. They are HEAVY. Really heavy. Add to that the fact that the combo of the power head and the pole and the trimmer itself are very long, and you've got something that is difficult to balance and unwieldy due solely to the big trimmer weight at the end. It is tough for me to use for any extended length of time, especially overhead. And I'm a big muscular guy.
